The picture quality on this camera is great and I give it 5 Stars but some design flaws drag down the rating of this camera as far as I am concerned. The flexibility in camera resolutions was the reason why I bought this camera. Like I stated earlier the picture this camera generates is GREAT. Pictures are crisp, stable and in IR mode gives a nice picture in total darkness. My problem with the camera is how the camera mounts. The gimbal is not designed well which could allow for water to enter the camera itself or the mounting box. Also, the plastic cover in front of the IR illuminators seems to be made out of a soft easily scratched red plastic. I feel it also may tend to warp or crawl under the Arizona sun of 120 degrees plus during the day here in direct sunlight. I would not mount this camera anyplace where it will get excessive sun or rain. Otherwise, I liked the camera.

I wanted surveillance that had good video quality so I bought several types/styles cameras from Amazon. I really didn't care about brand name because with a tight budget, I knew I wouldn't be getting a Samsung nor Sony camera. So after testing several cameras, I narrowed it down to 3 different cameras. I thought each of them were from different manufacturers, but they all came from SECRT! What's crazy was that those cameras had the lowest price compared to 7 other makers I bought. I'm convinced SECRT is a bargain and a great value. There is however the downside. Compared to other outdoor cameras, these do not have metal casings and mount. All plastic. Also a bit cumbersome when it comes to positioning and mounting. The dome camera is more forgiving. Anyways, I'm not sure how "waterproof" it is. Time will tell, but it's been raining here in Washington and so far so good! For now, I give this a 5-star for value and excellent video quality!

I have lost count on how many of these that I have bought at this point. I have been systematically replacing all of my cameras with these Secrt cameras over the last year or so. They work great with my 720p AHD Night owl 16 channel and I will continue buying them until I have replaced al of my stationeries. I wish this company made a PTZ camera that has similar quality standards as these cameras because I would buy it.

Decent little camera for the price. Works with my system and provides clear picture day and night.

had $10 camera better had $10 not. The ir night view is bad was going to buy more but now I can delete it from the cart not worth the money by far
