Good enough?
Most problematic PLA I've used. Yes, I've been lucky.Filament diameter varied a lot. 1.6 to 1.8mm in less than a one meter stretch.I liked the slightly "softer" texture of the filament, but the flexibility caused issues when thick chunks hit the hot end. The dreaded Extruder Click. At other spots in the spool, it was beautifully consistent and yielded great prints.I had one piece warp (didn't really notice many problems with dimensional accuracy of the prints). I don't usually have that issue with PLA.I used for a project with many large parts. I was able to complete the project, and since it's a large installation, the surface quality wasn't critical, it was fine.

Good print, great price.
I read the comments that this was not wood PLA, but wood-colored, which is what I wanted. The color was right for the project I am working on.I purchased both wood-color and black PLA. I need to tweak the parameters a bit to get the black PLA to print the top layer a bit better. The product was packaged well and not open as indicated by one reviewer. I will be ordering a couple of more colors at this price.

Color inconsistent BUT simulates wood tones.
As others have pointed out, the color--in general--is more caramel than wood.I am not sure if this "wood-colored" filament was intentionally manufactured to present an inconsistent color throughout the print. Some layers are light while others are darker. However, combined 3D printing artifacts--layering, salmon-skin, banding--it nicely simulates wood.I've encountered a couple of brittle sections with this spool but so far nothing major.

I really want to like this product - It prints great and the price is the best on amazon. However, as of right now, I have three back to back failed prints because the filament is getting bound up and stuck on the roll. I had this issue with the color pink as well in the past but attributed it to a bad roll. This is the only brand of filament I've ever used that has done this. I don't think I'll be wasting anymore money on Melca.

Excellent Filament - Work great in the PRUSA i3 Mk3
I haven't had any issues with the wood colored filament. I use a PRUSA i3 Mk3 using the PRUSA material settings for PLA and it prints just fine. I did receive a piece of clearish plastic filament with my order. I have no idea what it is since the note only said they thought I might like it. Not sure if it just clear filament or what.

Prints well but definitely not “wood” colored. It’s more of a dark caramel. I wanted it for more of a tan for popsicle stick color but it’s too yellow. Picture is compared to a light brown and dark chocolate colors.

Solid filament, especially for the price!
I grabbed a roll of their Brown/Wood color PLA recently and was very happy with the results. The light brown color was just as pictured, had no issues printing it right off the bat. I've printed about 40 of these little figures with no clogs or snags. The winding on the roll is a little messy, but no more so than what's in the picture. The roll came sealed up with dissecant as you'd expect. For the price, hard to beat!

It's PLA. It worked, just like all the other more expensive stuff I've used has worked. If you asked me to tell the brands apart after I had printed something, I couldn't do it. My settings - Bed temp: 60. Hot end temp: 200. Can't think of any complaints.
