The mitt is a good design as shown in the photos, and it blocks the heat well. However, the ink smears if you handle something very hot (as in above 500°F).

What a unique product! Very satisfied with this, going to be using as holiday gifts for those who have moved from MI to other states, sure it will be a neat reminder of what was once home. Durable, decorative and well worth the money!

First - you only get one oven mitt, despite the fact that the photo shows two. That’s only to demonstrate that it’s printed on both sides. I received my order and then quickly ordered a second - in time for holiday delivery - because it’s a Christmas gift. It was supposed to be delivered by 12/22. Now it won’t arrive until 12/30. Just disappointing. If you look at other similar items online this is the most expensive and the service is definitely not worth the extra money.

Heavy material ensures you will not burn your hand with this oven mitt. Great conversation piece and my kids love to look at it and see where I came from. Please read the details as it plainly states that you get ONE mitt. The picture shows the ONE mitt with the UP on one side and Michigan on the other.
