Plano50 Count Handgun Ammo Case (for 9mm and .380ACP Ammo)

Love these. I have a few of these in different calibers and they are build like tanks. They make storing ammo a breeze and strip the worry out of the process. I had one of these in my car when my wife got into an accident and flipped the car multiple times. The car was a mess but this case was still in tact with all of its contents.

Durable cases and convenient

These ammunition boxes are excellent. They are made by Plano a very trusted name in strength and durability in storage box industry for many years. They hold 50 = 9mm shells perfectly with room to spare for us larger handed individuals. It makes it very easy to reload your magazines while at the range. I do not endorse many products, but if you are a shooter professionally or hobbyist then these are the ammo storage boxes for you! They are very easily stackable and they come with labels to tell you what's in the box caliber wise. They do not take up lots of space and they fit into my range bag perfectly with room to spare.

Plano is a product leader for a reason. These cases are sturdy and durable. The cartridge size is on the money. But this brand isn’t my favorite. Compared to American made MTM, I find Plano boxes to be a little bulky, and the plastic latches (two, when one will do) a little difficult to manipulate - particularly one handed. But these will last forever, they stack nicely, and perform their function well.

I like that this case has actual hinges that should last a long time. The ridges on the outside of the box also make it more easy to handle. No trouble getting 45 ACP rounds in and out of the case.

It is a great way to organize loose bulk rounds. It is sturdy enough for the range bag and it does exactly what I needed. It isn't a great ammo box but it is a great little box for the money.

According to TSA and airline rules, shells need to be in original unopened cardboard boxes, or locked cases inside of a locked firearm case that has a designed space for the shells, or in a locked case inside of another check in case or luggage. Limits vary, like 5-10 pounds of ammo, check airline of choice for limits. No documents requested, pre check in for declaration and tags.

These would be hard to beat at twice the price. There are a few pesky details, but on the whole these do what they're supposed and do it well. These are more of a 'one size' fits many, than a specific fit. The latches are firm and hold very well. Almost too well - this is a two handed open. The hinges are solid and look quite durable. NOT the flexible bendy plastic that eventually breaks others use. Even comes with sticky labels so you know what you've put in 'em. The cartridge in the picture is a Federal 45ACP. As you can see it does sit quite deeply into the case. There's about 3/4" of space between the dividers and the lid. Shells will be held in place, but they can move up and down quite a bit if traveling. nothing a small piece of foam or even cardboard wouldn't handle. I'll be loading paper cartridges for an "1885 Remington New Army .44 revolver" into mine. They fit well, stay where I want 'em and are secure enough i don't have to worry about spills or loss. And for the price! I got extras for other stuff. Just to have on hand. FWIW, the factory sticky labels to peel off easy enough without leaving crap behind.
