Top quality
My daughter recommended and was needing this product for her oboe for school band.

Half came cracked the rest never opened
If you know how to res tape and adjust reeds you can probably make your own. Until then, buy a Legere synthetic reed and save some money in the long run. Cane reeds are not for beginners and traditional plastic are of waste of space. If you're a student and haven't started learning to make your own reeds don't buy cane buy Legere.

Not bad for the price
Seemingly works fine but didn't last as long as I thought it would.

Oboe reed
I liked how it arrived quick and that it was a unique oboe because of the color. Also worked great with my daughters oboe.

Great Reed!
Great student oboe reed-being used by an 8th grade oboe player. In tune and excellent pitch. Will be buying again.

Terrific reed
Very nice reed. Aligned perfectly. Only thing bad is the thread color - makes the reed look unprofessional

Didn’t work
The reed arrived and my daughter is trying to play her oboe and this reed is defective and won’t allow her to play the full range of notes. Very disappointed. She has a concert to prepare for.

Great for high school beginner oboe.
EDIT: I did end up getting a reed that plays a half step flat no matter how much I push it in. It looks like the reed was made a bit crooked so I'll knock a star off the initial review. However, these are still better than the ones I'd been getting before from another Amazon seller, so I'd still recommend them.I'm a beginner oboe player in high school and don't really have the time or money to invest in making my own reeds. I've bought 4 of these reeds so far and they've been the most consistent I've tried (though, I've really only tried these, another Amazon seller's, and a music store's). I last bought 2 in mid-December and only one has broke so far. I expect the other to die soon, hence the repurchase. But the tone is good and they allow for pretty decent volume control. These also don't restrict my range at all. There are probably better reeds out there, but you can't beat the price of these. Overall, they're good reeds and I definitely recommend them if you're learning or can't make your own.
