8.25" H Hand Blown Mercury Glass Lily Lamp w/ Leaf Base - Gold

I have fallen in love with this little lamp. I bought the silver-mercury globe. It uses a nightlight-type bulb. One must remove the globe to insert the bulb, then carefully place the globe back in place. It inserts easily. The switch is on the cord, which works well for me since I am short and I have placed it on a high shelf; however, what is convenient for me might not be for you, so buyer beware. The thing I love so much about the lamp is the quality of the light. It is a pure, white light that is soft enough to enhance and illuminate its corner without glaring. The shade gets the credit for this soft yet bright color. It is NOT bright enough for task lighting. This is fine for me since that's not what I wanted. I bought it to provide a gentle up-light to brighten a dark corner and it works beautifully.

I've always wanted one of these. Even though the purple/green combo wouldn't have been my first choice, the price for that one in particular was too low to pass up.It's a cute little lamp. I put a decorative 15-watt chandelier bulb in it and it's STILL almost too bright to look at. Unfortunately the filament of the bulb lined up with the clearest part of the shade, so it might not be so bright if the filament was behind the purple part. Anyway, I'm going to experiment with other bulbs and even a bulb extender to bring the filament a little closer to the top. If after all is said and done it's still too bright, I'll either just put a nightlight in it, or I'll buy an opaque replacement shade for it that will cut down on the glare.

It is beautiful and casts a nice light for use as a nightlight on my mantle.I'd have given it 5 stars if a lightbulb was included.15 watt was a tad hard to find.They're labeled as "exit sign light bulbs"Maybe include one so folks can enjoy their lamp right away.

Very nice for a soft, non-intrusive, on all the time, night light in our master bedroom. I bought 2 lamps and put a very small, 3 watt, flicker, chandelier, flame-tip bulb in both of the lamps. It's such a soft light and it really looks a lot like the flame from a candle burning in each of them - even my husband likes them.

Just lovely! Purchased this as a Memory Light, for a recently deceased friend's family. They told me it is lit constantly in their family room and enjoy it's gentle beauty. It's small enough to be kept lit as desired, yet large enough not to be overwhelming. The "night light" bulb recommended, I opted out, and purchased candelabra bulbs (same wattage). The slight increased height makes the light appear somewhat brighter. Would highly recommend this lamp to anyone - for personal enjoyment or as a gift. Excellent service also. The lamp safely packaged and arrived promptly.

Didn't know what to expect as this lamp is so inexpensive. However, I am very, very pleased with it, its quality and appearance. Very lovely in a guest room to add a little ambient light. I like it so much I'm going to purchase another one for a different area of my house.

I would agree with other reviewers that these lamps are not bright enough to light a large space, but they do work perfectly as accent lights in the corner of the room, and are very attractive and remarkable. We actually paired ours up with some Alexa-controlled switches, so that we can easily switch between these dimmer lights for evenings when we want mood lighting, and brighter spotlights for greater visibility.

This lamp is so cute! It's the perfect size for a nightstand reading lamp. It adds just enough direct light for books. The glass is thick and the colors are beautiful. I'm very pleased with this purchase.
