Pearl Jam Anthology - The Complete Scores (Box Set): Hardcover

The only Pearl Jam Guitar book worth buying!!
I watched this on Amazon and on the Pearl Jam site for quite a few months before purchasing it as it is quite an expensive item. $75 from the Pearl jam site and £40 from the Amazon global store. I decided to buy it from the Amazon Global store as an outside seller on Amazon boosted the price up to £78 for Christmas and I am glad I did. It arrived 1.5 weeks earlier than scheduled and took about 10 days from ordering to delivery at my door (all the way from USA). Fabulous service by Amazon and all for £40 including P&P and import duty!I am a huge Pearl Jam fan having got all their albums and having bought or heard bootleg broadcasts of over 400 concerts on Ten Club Radio. I am also a guitar player who has wanted to play Pearl Jam songs properly for years and now I can.Up until now any budding Pearl Jam guitarist/fan could only get the sheet music by purchasing the Guitar tab for the Ten album (which is not the most accurate tab out there) or by going to online guitar tab sites or by watching you tube teaching videos. Now that I have bought this book I can say that in a lot of cases these other options have been teaching it mainly the wrong way. I thought I could play a pretty good, accurate version of Better Man until I bought this book and boy was I wrong. Where did all those notes come from I thought?I have seen some reviews saying that in some songs when it gets to the guitar solo it says Ad Lib Guitar Solo. Any major Pearl Jam fan will know that the solos tend to change on a night by night basis as do the songs so I see nothing wrong with that here but just keep this in mind when you buy the book.A big point to note is that when it says "The Complete Scores" you need to be aware it doesn't contain the Lost Dog songs with the exception of Yellow Ledbetter. Therefore you won't get any versions of Sad, Down, Hitchhiker etc. Also there is no Long Road or I Got Id and of course staples of the live set of Crazy Mary and Rockin' in the Free World and various Who songs aren't Pearl Jam songs so they won't be here either. However what you do get is 130 songs, 100% accurate, 800 odd pages and a very nice hardback book and box to keep it in.Is it worth it? Yes, Absolutely. If you love Pearl Jam and play the guitar then buy this. You will not regret it.

Worth it.
Love this book. Bought it for the bass lines. So good to have all there albums in one handy book. Highly recommended for pearl jam fans who play bass and guitar.

Great book but small print
Great book just gave 4 stars instead of 5 as very small print especially considering most people would be holding a guitar between them and the book disappointed price dropped by £15 couple of days after I purchased 🙄

Definitely a good thing to own but not without its downfalls
Very small print and the font doesn’t do well at that size, some numbers/letters appear blotted.A lot of the lead guitar has been omitted and some solos included are not comprehensive enough.
