ARC250 Stick Welder

Stick welding is definitely a new thing for me. I did my homework and looked up the sticks recommended for DC welding and got a box of 6011 and 7018. Both worked fine with this unit. The bead I put down was ugly as sin but that was inexperience on my part. It burns the sticks like a champ and the digital readout with dial was simple to set. Small, light, and totally portable. I look forward to developing some proficiency and this little machine for the money is going to be awesome.

The welder arrived new in the box no damage to the box, I opened the welder up sorted out the leads and plugged it into proper power source and turned the unit on. No lights or indication of power. I verified power was correct and making it to the welders power in cord. I am returnning the welder never made a spark or even indication it was plugged in.

Just learning to weld, works great, would buy again. 5 stars.

Was really impressed with this little light weight welder i welded multiple passes on 3/8 mild steel with 1/8 7018 with no problem at all good machine for the price

I just received it and welder yesterday. 1/8 & 5/32 great welds. Such a small box one of 3 stick welders and does great with common sticks. I love it due to convenience. Sure the leads are not the best but the do fine and are interchangeable.

this is a great machine for the price.. constant 60% duty cycle. more power than you will ever need and a nice beautiful smooth arc... parts available if needed... never any problems.. i give it 5 stars

Welder itself simply...WORKS .... Already payed for itself more than once.... Fan is nice and loud has not over heated been burning 7018s since i got it and it just dont quit ....

I am just getting started with welding, so I can't speak to how this would perform for a professional, but it's done a great job for my modest needs.
