These work great for pets as an indoor pee pad. Just wish they came in a larger size.

So far only gotten to use 1 of these to absorb some coolant but it worked exactly as expected. Just dropped it in the spilled coolant and it did a good job of absorbing the puddle. The next thing I will be using this on is oil changes as some always ends up spilling so I will update this review once I get to that. But so far great deal and easier than using a bunch of paper towels.

I actually got these for the inevitable fountains of antifreeze and oil from working on the car, but they were pressed into early service this weekend with the heavy rains.Used them to keep an area somewhat dry so I could pump water off the roof (no ponds = no leaks!).When I had to go up the ladder (just don't when it's wet out!), I used it on the bottom rung to dry my feet for better traction on the other rungs.With minimal drips, these absolutely "FlashDry" as the name states. With more volume, they isolate the liquids so they're not sitting on the surface like they would on other absorbent pads.In the past, I'd used doggie pads/hospital chucks for messy oil and grease jobs on the car, but these are already the #1 new go-to.Absolutely worth every penny and then twice as much more - I'm really happy I got these and the quantity should keep me in and out of messes for a while to come.FYI - once dry (with water only) these rejuvenated and went back to work. Obviously, when I had more of a quantity of water and kept them outdoors in the rain, they didn't instantly dry, but the next day they were fine and right back to work. Since I didn't have hazardous fluids in them, I was over the moon that I could reuse them!FIVE STARS - REALLY GREAT PRODUCT FOR IN AND OUT OF THE HOUSE AND GARAGE!

I hesitate to write a review, I didn't give these a chance to prove their effectiveness for absorbing oil or chemical spills. We're about out of the name brand pads. These are about 1/2 the price, so I figure I'd give them a shot. I ordered two boxes of 100 each. These are thin and smaller overall than the name brand. One box of 100 of the name brand has more material than two boxes of 100 of this brand.I figured what the heck I'll give them a try, and as I was loading them onto the shelf, I noticed a strong odor of cigarettes. I immediately started a return. I loaded these into my truck, and they were in there for maybe 1/2 hour and my truck reeks of cigarettes. Gross.These seem like a bargain, but they're very thin. I don't know what they're made of, but they stink. I ordered another box of name brand pads. I would have tried them out if they didn't smell so bad.
