Outstanding price
I got these for my 2000 cherokee. They fit perfect and installed with little effort. The price on these are outstanding considering at an auto store there close to 100$ a piece. They are authentic moog parts..Ive installed enough moog products i can tell the fake from real. These are very well made and are greaseable.

Works Well
Once you press the old ball joints out, these work pretty well.I was told that Moog still makes their products in the U.S.A. and professional mechanics told me NOT to buy Chinese made parts. The ball joints that I bought have a grease fitting that is plugged and you need to install the Zerk fitting after installation (not easy).

Fit a 98’ ZJ 5.9.….
Fit a 98’ ZJ 5.9. Very hard to find proper parts for it because it has a lot of one off stuff used in other cars so you have to track it down through parts from other things like xj’s and such but these work. Gonna drop this same review on the upper ball joint listing as well.

Grease needle needed to properly grease
MOOG Technical support says Lincoln 5803 is the recommended grease needle. Hope this saves others from buying several needles like I did.

Emproved the steering on my 1998 Jeep TJ
These are high quality ball joints. They greatly improved the steering on my '98 TJ. If you run big tires on your Jeep, you will probably have wore out ball joints within a year or two. I would definately buy these again. You will need a ball joint removal tool and the specail Jeep adapters to replace them. Spend the money a buy the better quality ball joint tools, the cheap ones don't work very well.

Moog is the best, these were no exception
Very high quality parts, did upper and lower on both sides, nasty clunk is now gone, steering is much tighter.Moof costs more because they put more into the parts, very high quality.

Junk
Stay away! The grease/zerk fitting is pressed in.. After installing the ball joint I put a little grease in it and the zerk fitting popped right out. I contacted moog and they never heard of a fitting without threads. Pretty sad since its their product. I asked him if there Is a fix for it and he said return it. He said they have a lifetime warranty but won't honor it since it was bought off of Amazon. He said return it where you got it but unfortunately the Amazon return window has expired! Great!Update!! Contacted Amazon and they took back the item for a refund eventhough it was outside the return window. Thanks

Great price great part
About 2/3 the price of my local auto parts stores. Much heavier than stock look to be good quality.

OK I guess
They work fine and I have been happy with Moog products in the past but theses have a strange grease fitting which I have not found an adapter for yet. Very disappointing.

do not buy, absolute junk
my worn out ball joints were same make and part number, I needed a press to remove them. the new ones from Moog can be fully seated by hand, same brand same part number. quality control a little off.went with mevotech instead, pressed in tight and secure.. will not buy Moog again..
