incomplete quanity
returned for same item, I received 1 buckle and 10 tri-glides. appear to be well made just not what was described. Will update review once replacement order arrives to see if order is complete this time.Received replacement order, updated to 4 stars. First order I received was incomplete. Almost seemed like I was sent a return at first. First order didn’t have a factory box just a plastic bag with all the slides and buckles. Withheld one star for frustration of return.

Easy to use
I play tenor saxophone and baritone saxophone. Neck straps that don't want to stay adjusted properly are very frustrating. I decided to come up with my own "perfect" neck strap. I was using metal rectangular slip rings and rectangular rings which required sewing the 1" webbing to the rings. Unfortunately, while I'm still in the design and testing phases, each change of configuration requires cutting the webbing from the rings and eventually I have to start with a fresh web strap. While looking for other parts, I ran across these plastic buckles and slide adjusters. With these adjusters, I don't have to sew the strap to the adjusters, so I can reconfigure as many times as I need to without shortening the strap. I was originally going to use a buckle as a way to shorten the strap, but I am probably just going to use 4 or 5 adjustersThese buckles and slides look and feel sturdy. For most uses you probably won't need to do any sewing as indicated in the description. A couple of configurations I used, i did get the webbing to slip in both the adjusters and a buckle, but it did take considerable force. When I have completed my final configuration of the neck strap, I will sew the strap to the appropriate rings as I don't want to have to replace an instrument -- either through a failed component or a failed design. Things can happen.I highly recommend these to replace broken buckles or adjusters or a sewing project of your own design.

Perfect for sewing crafts.
These buckles pair very well with 1 inch nylon straps. Perfect for the tote bags I've been working on.

Good quality
These are a good quality. They are almost the exact size of the buckle I needed to replace on my diaper bag. It even comes with anti-slip clips. Those never came on my bag. That’s what caused me to lose the original buckle, so it’s nice to know these will be nice and secure. This is a good deal for what you get.

For the price, better than expected
Over the years I have gone through a ton of webbing and even more buckles and 'tri-glides' which I seem to always run out of before webbing and buckles for some reason. In this case, I had a buckle and plenty of webbing, but I didn't have any 'tri-glides' (truthfully, I had no clue that is what they are called) so I picked this inexpensive kit up in order to secure a little 4-pack of 'ammo cans' my wife got me from another store that rhymes with Rostco (nice little kit BTW).I really didn't expect much from this kit and really didn't need much beyond the 'tri-glides' but the buckles with this kit seemed to be a bit better than the buckles I already had, so I used them instead. Everything went together smoothly, and it has so far stayed tight and secure so no reason to knock this product at all. It's cheap and you know what you are getting. If you attempt to use this kit to repel down a cliff, that is on you but for simple jobs like my example, no reason to spend more.
