Perfect!
I had bought this for my toddler, hoping to use it as a nightlight. It's pretty bright, and vibrant, which is great--but it was a little too bright (by our standards) to use as a nightlight. She loves it regardless, and it's bright and colorful enough to have on with the lights on while she plays in her room. Pretty cool little light!

Very Cute
We loved this !! I used it for my daughter’s birthday table. It’s has a great brightness to it ! It can be plugged or operated on batteries. Now she uses in her room for decor !

I love this little rainbow 🌈 lamp. It's so cute and retro. Brings florescent light to my little room. Cheers the atmosphere with a happy little rainbow. Buy it you will love it. I will buy the Palm Tree lamp next. Thanks Amazon

Smells horrible of toxic plastic.
Got this for my kid, even without plugging it in the toxic plastic smell was so strong I couldn’t give it to them. Very disappointing. Returning immediately.

Second time is a charm
The first one arrived broken, which is understandable since it got here in a bubble wrap bag. The box was a bit damaged, so it makes sense. The replacement also came in a bubble wrap bag, and the box was damaged, but not as bad. Luckily the second one is fine. I did plug it in via USB at first, but I wanted that port free, so I put the three AA batteries in it. It works well either way. I have a little bit of a rainbow theme going on my desk, so it adds a little something to the aesthetic. I don't like that the switch on top is black, so I put a little figurine on it to try to hide that. I don't think the listing photos accurately capture the color of the item. I'll post photos of what it actually looks like.
