Good and supportive
Best brace without being a brace! I have chronic ankle pain from surgery 15 years ago. I tend to also injure it more since because of instability. This hopefully will prevent some of them! It took me a little bit to get used to putting it on but if you follow directions it just takes a few times. It’s a compression sleeve you don’t want them loose so order the appropriate size not bigger.

Do not waste your money. Get a real brace.
Terrible. There was not full thought put into this for people with real ankle issues. It fits so tightly it’s hard to get on, which hurts if your ankle is sore. The wrap parts stretch, they will stretch out and wear out in no time. It doesn’t give a whole lot of stability at all. A little more stability than a compression sock and that’s it. Not ideal for an active person with ankle issues. Plus, it will stink over time being that it’s a sock. Felt stupid for ordering once I took it out of the box and looked at it.

Great Support
My physical therapist recommended this sock after an ankle injury. It’s comfortable when worn properly, though you may need to adjust it a bit so it doesn’t feel bulky in the heel of your shoe. I definitely recommend using it during recovery, but only after the swelling has gone down. If your ankle is still swollen, it can feel too tight.

Hard to get on and too long.
Very difficult to get on. To the point that my foot was falling asleep, although it did ease up eventually. At the same time, it is very long in the toe area and tight at the top band. Does the job for me in sandals for support, but the excess in the toe area makes it too uncomfortable for closed toed shoes. They should make one that is more a brace than a sock. Sizing is not great.

A huge help, great alternative to kinesiology tape...
It seems to me that people who have offered low ratings are missing the point of this product. It needs to be tight. It must be tight to work properly. You need to put some effort in to getting this on your foot and around your ankle. This is not just a brace and it is not just a compression sock. This is a compression sock with a flexible but strong 'cage,' as they have accurately labeled it. This 'cage' wraps around the foot's sides, top and back and then it runs up over the ankle. You need to be holding on to the 'cage' material when putting this on so as not to stretch the compression sock material. If you pull on the sock material, you're going to stretch out the compression sock and diminish the strength the 'cage' material. I have been wearing kinesiology tape almost daily due to subluxations in a weak ankle, the same in a damaged foot, and in a stretched tendon that runs from the base of the leg, down and around the ankle, and in to the foot. I no longer have to ensure that I wrap my foot and ankle with kinesiology tape. Well, some days require a good k-taping but this sock/brace has significantly cut down on the amount of k-tape I use. This is a huge cost saver because good k-tape costs about a dollar a day. I bought two of these so I can rotate them and allow time for the other sock to be washed and air-dried - do not put these in a clothing dryer. Unless I have severely subluxated a tendon or bone, this sock gets me through almost every day. I usually put a regular sock over this sock. Because the compression sock is on the sturdy but thin side and because the 'cage' area is mostly hidden in the transition area between the foot and ankle, there is a surprisingly good amount of room to get on that extra sock. Highly recommended!

Too expensive for a single side of sock with strap
Not recommended. Good ankle support and stability but too expensive for a single side of sock with straps. Not easy to putt in and take off, specially if your ankle is injured. Not durable. First day using and got damaged, rubber damaged

Good idea - needs better implementation.
I was very excited after finding this product and planned to buy several (I have posterior-tibial syndrome, wear compression socks, and am weary of cloggy ankle braces). But after reading reviews, I decided to pace myself. I ordered just one - and a size up (again, based on reviews). I wear a size 11 M (women's) and ordered an XL. The foot was too long (I could have lived with that). But the ankle height was too short - and the area around the ankle was WAY WAY WAY too tight. I was worried I would have to cut it off once on. It's a REALLY good idea that needs to go back to the design/implementation drawing board. Returned. Bummer.
