My daughter actually had to have a sleep study when she was 2.5 years old. She just doesn’t need to sleep. We were happy to find that nothing was neurologically wrong, however, the dr told us that she is a child that just “doesn’t require sleep” we bought this blanket a year later as we have tried so many different tactics to help her to sleep. This blanket hasn’t helped with sleep, but it has helped with comfort. Even though it’s heavy she will drag this thing with her when she is tired and looking for comfort. She loves the softness and sometimes lays on top of it rather than underneath. So it might not be serving the exact purpose of why we purchased it, but it is helping her with her nighttime anxiety and comfort levels.

This blanket is wonderful! We got the mermaid design and my only complaint is that the direction of the mermaids is opposite of what you think it would be. When lying down using the blanket the mermaids are sideways instead of up and down as would be expected. But this doesn’t affect the function of the blanket. It’s super silky soft and very comfortable. Not quite big enough for my long skinny 9 year old to cover from shoulders to outstretched feet but she loves it. May pass this one along to little sister and get a larger one for my 3rd grader. We haven’t washed it yet but seems like it would be durable. I highly recommend!

Let me first start out by saying how soft this blanket is! My 2 1/2 year old girl does best with the 5lb blanket and it’s just perfect for that little extra added weight for security. She loves this blanket and does sleep better with it. The colors are cute and go very well in her pink room:) you won’t be disappointed all around.

I was apprehensive about a weighted blanket but my husband felt one would help his nighttime leg and foot cramps. I was afraid the weight would be hot. Well, he was right. AGAIN!!! His cramps have stopped (I have no explanation for this) and I haven't had a problem with the weight. In fact, I think I've been sleeping better. The blanket itself it well made and a nice dark gray color. It matches the bedding and window coverings. We ordered a king size and it's almost long enough to just use as a comforter. I'm glad he talked me into this.

I originally ordered weighted blanket for my 4 years old son. I ordered smaller size but same 5lbs weight. It was so tiny that I returned it and ordered this one and I surely am glad that I did. My son always have been restless sleeper, always ends up sleeping sideways for some reason. But with this blanket he hardly even moves through the night. The quality of this blanket is great also, its plushy feel on both sides. I would prefer cotton one of course, but the size to weight ratio is really hard to find.

Very soft and high quality materials for the mermaid pattern. It has more layers than other weighted blankets so you can’t feel the beads as much which I love. The weight is perfect and the blanket is amazing.The reason for four stars is purely because I expected that the mermaids would be VERTICAL as it was shown that way in all the pictures. What I didn’t realize is that they are showing the blanket laying horizontal across a child’s body or wrapped around their body, not laid on them as they would have it when sleeping, from head to toe. So when we put it on her in bed the mermaids look funny. We obviously bought the blanket more for function than aesthetics, but it would be better if it was a vertical pattern. During the day we put it at the bottom of the bed horizontally which looks great, but I still wish the pattern went the other direction.

We bought this for our 8 year old daughter's birthday because she was jealous of the one her brother got for Christmas. She was SO excited. She loves the print and loves sleeping with her "heavy weighted blanket". She seems to sleep well. I thought the blanket had a cover, but I guess I didn't read the discription very well. This blanket does not have a duvet cover, so if it gets dirty, the entire thing will need to be washed.

I had to get it for my baby boy he loves it & so do I. The weight of it is perfect and it’s super soft not to mention super CUTE!! & if you spill something on it easy to wipe & clean.

My 9 year old loves this blanket. It's getting on the small size, but she doesn't care. It's soft and comfy, the beads done move around, and easily washed. She uses it ever night and it has helped her fall asleep. I had purchased a larger one from a competitor brand, and it has a cover, and it slides around inside and is terrible. I regret that purchase. May try to purchase a larger blanket from this company. We have had it about a year, and it has held up. Good quality!

Je suis tellement contente de mon achat! Première nuit avec cette merveille et je ne m'en passerai définitivement plus 😉. C'est le poids est super bien répartie et elle semble très lourde à Première abord, mais une fois couché c'est réconfortant. Elle reste bien en place. Je recommande !

So far we love this blanket. It is so soft, my daughter loves it. My daughter is 8, and it's a bit short on her length wise (covering the toes). We have not tried to wash it yet. We purchased another one for our son from a different company, where the cover is removable and HATE it. The cover will not stay attached to the blanket no matter what we do. Recommend this one.

Super happy with this blanket. I purchased it for my 3 year old who has yet to sleep through the night...She’s been using it for just over a month now and she’s started sleeping through the night! Not every night, but it’s definitely helped! If she is up, it’s only once a night now instead of 3 or 4 times.If your child is struggling with sleeping or staying asleep, I would definitely recommend trying this blanket!One side is super soft. She loves it.
