For some reason no matter how much I angle grind the primary claw on my right foot, it still manages to poke a hole in my trainers.A stitch in time and all that, I deploy these into NEW trainers, rather than to wait for a hole to appear! Prevention is better than cure!Remember to remove laces before deployment. Will make it easier to apply. I tried peeling the back off in full the first few times and found it so sticky the slightest nock sticks ....so ... I've found you can just peel back 0.5cm , stick that in place then peel back as your hand pulls put of the cavity.

For the money, these are a really good way to extend the life of running shoes. If you just stick one on top it is likely to drop off on anything other than a dry run, but if you can manage to place one on the inside and then one on the outside to stick to the one on the inside then the adhesion is pretty good. It's a bit fiddly to do this but well worth the effort, as they are still sticking after many runs

Loved the idea of making my hoka’s last a little longer (I love the comfort and support but they come apart so quickly) so bought these sadly they don’t stick! Great decoration for for my socks!

Seem to be a good stick on the adhesive pads. These are going in squash trainers so hopefully will fix the problem toe hole

Put one in each shoe just where it was needed. Made sure it was secure. Left it for a week to ensure it had time to settle. First time of wearing, it rubbed up. I suppose it is too much to ask, that a lining that has been worn be repeated wear, will be protected by a stick on piece
