Lovely tea. Calming and spices warm you from inside.
I love this tea, it's the only tea I drink. First thing that hits you is the smell when you open it. Pop your bag in the mug, pour in hot water, wait as many minutes as you need, throw tea bag away.. NO MILK dont be weird.What you get is a spiced tea, that can calm, relax, warm you and help detox you. With a lovely aromtic smell. Only issue is it's so expensive but good luck finding it in any UK store.

This was tasty and really good value for money. Bought at same time as Vahdam tea and, by comparison, this one a bit weaker and with ginger added.

Soothing Tea

YUCK !.... THESE ARE NOT THE TEA BAGS I USED TO BUY
These are not the Palanquin spiced ( masala chai ) tea bags that I used to drink 8 years ago, which I used to buy from my local corner shop in London before I retired and moved away. They were nice - these are definitely not. I'd optimistically bought 2 boxes of 40 bags and really wish I had not. I get the feeling that quality control may have fallen by the wayside in the way that these tea bags are being produced these days. I reiterate that I do know how this blend used to taste like and the bags that I've just received are abysmally substandard by comparison. Have you ever swept a dry concrete floor and tasted the dusty air that the sweeping has created ? Well I'm afraid to state that these spiced ( masala chai ) tea bags remind me of that. Pretty much tasteless and, ironically, leaving you needing to actually drink a decent cup of tea to rid yourself of the taste left on your palate. I really do like spiced tea but definitely not the horrible mix of powders that are being put into the tea bags produced by Palanquin these days.Eamonn

Look out for bugs!!!
Nice tea, although I have to use two bags to get a good flavour. But be sure to use a tea strainer - I nearly swallowed a huge earwig in my last cup!

A Luvly Cuppa
Thoroughly enjoyed - a lightly spiced tea with uplifting and warming effect. Will probably try the other teas in the range.
