This is a gamer headset
I am not a gamer but my son is & I let him use them some as well an he really likes them in fact he will more than likely be getting these. Lol. Anyway the ability for wifi and bluetooth is a really cool feature as well as a new one to me. It connects fast & right to were you want it an I mean by this I have 5 laptops currently & there is many things connected with bluetooth devices & sometimes with other devices they don't connect right away or they even connect to the wrong laptop. An with these I have not had any problems they always connect to the right one & do it fast. I like the built in headphones along with the front one that comes off if you want it to this is also a cool feature. They have great sound fit to my head as they adjust cup my ears so when I use these i am uninterrupted which I really like when I am trying to focus on a program I am learning or a youtube video so I can concentrate on it. Over all I am impressed & I would recommend these to anyone who wants a great set of headphones for any use but I think gamer's really will like these.

Top notch sound!
The sound quality of the hecate G30S is exceptional. The headset delivers immersive game sound effects, allowing me to fully immerse myself in my gaming sessions. The audio is crisp, clear, and well balanced, enhancing my overall gaming experience. Whether I'm playing intense action games or enjoying a cinematic single player adventure, the headset faithfully reproduces the audio with accuracy and depth. The wireless range is impressive, allowing me to move around my gaming area without any audio dropouts or interruptions. The dual mode transmission is a convenient feature, giving me the flexibility to connect to different devices depending on my needs. The headset is lightweight and features soft and plush ear cups that provide a comfortable fit, even during extended gaming sessions. The headband is adjustable and provides a secure and ergonomic fit. The headset's design also helps to reduce pressure on the head, preventing discomfort. The overall build quality feels sturdy and durable, ensuring that the headset will withstand regular use.

Excellent details and good comfort. Mediocre mic
Likes:-- Very well packaged. The headphones came out perfect without blemishes.-- Looks and feel fairly high quality, with metallic accents and high quality looking plastic.-- The faux PU leather is fairly soft and thickly cushioned.-- It's fairly big and fits mostly over the ear comfortably.-- Sound is mostly respectable, with very clear highs and pretty tight bass. It is clearly optimized for speeches and sounds effects, as the treble is very distinct and has a clean separation. Resolution is good, and benefits gaming.-- The lighting looks cool though you don't really see it yourself, but in video calls and maybe in gaming parties it can add to the aesthetics of the headset.Caveats:-- The microphone sounds tinny, which I thought was a bluetooth handsfree effect (and no it doesn't seem to have aptx call option but the standard bt handsfree; so dongle is definitely better for voice/calls). Yet with dongle it still sounds a bit tinny. It's serviceable but can be easily beaten by others.-- While the sound is fairly fast and clean, has a generally respectable performance, it's not quite audiophile. If I were to nitpick, it sounds a bit "thin" and a tad bright. Probably shouldn't expect audiophile quality from gaming headphones, though if you listen to music a lot, this will probably stand out.-- Has a physical volume rotary knob, which is a bit surprising given the price. It also will physically limit the max volume controlled by devices. If you want higher volumes, make sure that's turned up first before software adjustments.-- Came out of the box with 100% charge. Not the best storage/transport practice for battery longevity, and seems a bit less than becoming of an established brand like Edifier.Overall it's a respectable gaming headset clearly built to resolve voices and higher frequency spatial details. The bass response is fairly good with fast transients and not too boomy. It can sound a bit thin and bright for music, but not overly so. The microphone extension is tinny sounding even with the dongle. However, generally speaking it's a decent offering that is generally performant, from a fairly trusted brand (Edifier), and looks and feels good to boot.

Comfortable to wear and easy to set up and use.
I don't use headsets all that often, though there are some times when it is necessary. I do a little bit of gaming, so playing without disturbing others is a nice option.Mostly I use a headset with language programs which require you to speak the answers or responses. This headset gives me good sound to hear these programs as well as a quality enough mic for the system to properly hear the response so it can critique my response. This headset has a cool option I have discovered. The hard switch to go between bluetooth and wifi connection allows me to work my language study programs and at natural break points I can flip the switch and be on the gaming console taking some relax time until simply switching back to the program. Is this is super gamer headset? I don't think I'm qualified to answer that kind of question. It is plenty good enough for me in both study use and gaming use.

Comfortable, mic is awful
As a gamer and a youtuber, I need comfortable headphones with a great mic. The HECATE by Edifier G30S Wireless Gaming Headset is a really comfortable over the ear headphone with lots of comfortable padding. The sound is okay. The mic is awful. The first time I tried these out, the mic cut in and out and I could not use them for recording at all. There was no reason for the cutting in and out. I was not moving, there was no interference. I was just testing them out. It was like it could not stay connected. I tried with the bluetooth connections and with the 2.4 ghz connection. I am guessing it is the detachable mic. If you want a comfortable headphone for audio only, then these are okay. But if you need a mic, then do not bother.
