Would have to be to the brim to hold 1 cup aka 0.5 pint. Picture included shows 1/2 cup and max to not be spilled when pet eats 3/4 cup. My pet eats a half cup, so I guess I'll keep them.

First, these bowls are way smaller than I expected, but that’s probably my own fault for not visualizing what 1/2 a pint (1 cup right?) looks like. The annoying part is the label that was glued inside the bowl is almost impossible to get off. There is still a heavy glue residue on the bottom of the bowls after soaking them in hot water, vinegar water, and running them thru the dishwasher.

This is a TINY bowl, but it's perfect for filling up with water for our dogs on hikes. It fits inside our backpack very easily and is quite light weight. I liked that this could serve as multi-purpose, some other reviewers mentioned using for camping trips, etc. This shipped very quickly and was exactly as described.

Ok, this bowl is very nice and sturdy. I wasn't sure how wide or tall it was until it arrived. The description only says it holds half a pint. So, for those of you who are curious, the bowl is 4.5 inches wide and 1.75 inches tall. I will be using it to bake inside a hiking/camp cook pot while exploring the great outdoors, using the cook pot as an oven turned sideways with the lid on over the camp fire. Thankfully, it will fit nicely in the one I have.

And as you might expect, it is perfectly suited to all the tasks that you may require of a small bowl. I personally use it for a cat's water dish, but the possibilities are ENDLESS. That is provided that you narrow down those possibilities to being bowl related in some way.It's also quite shiny, which is a plus.All in all, this is a bowl that you can be proud to fill with both liquids as well as solids.

Well crafted. Met my expectations

This is a very tiny stainless steel dish we have had two in daily rotation for about four months now and they are in pristine condition - they are excellent quality dishes.When I say 'very tiny' it is suitable for a small breed dog or puppy or a cat. Half a pint is equal to about one cup or eight ounces.

Would only recommend this for dog breeds under 10lbs or maybe cats... if you are looking for a larger cheap dog bowl I’d recommend checking out your local dollar store.
