The best konjac noodles I’ve tried!
These are by far the best konjac noodles I’ve ever had. Unlike most others on the market, they don’t have that strong fishy smell that’s typical of konjac products in brine. That alone is a huge win!The texture is also noticeably better, not overly watery or rubbery, which is often a problem with other brands. When I tried them for the first time, I honestly had to double-check the box because I thought I’d made a mistake, they were that different (in a good way)!If you’ve been put off by other konjac noodles before, give these a try. They’re organic, gluten-free, and surprisingly enjoyable to eat. Highly recommended!

great low cal noodles
these are perfect if your wanting to lose weight but want noodles. there is only around 10 cals per 170 grams and thats enough per person. they taste great, there texture and smell might be strange to some but if you can get over that there great. they last long so you dont need to rush to use them and there easy to prepare, just drain the juice and cook.

Great for health, best to look at some solid recipes first before cooking
I was quite surprised when I opened my first packet. It smelt a lot. Like boiled eggs, I guess, was my first reaction? Once you cook it, it's fine. Kinda tasteless on it's own though. I wasn't a big fan of just boiling it in whatever soupy/noodle thing I was making so looked for other recipes with it. Learnt that a solid technique to making them have a nice texture (not super watery, rubbery and difficult to properly chew) was to1. rinse (with cold water) after taking them out the packet2. boil them for a few minutes first, then pat them them dry,3. Stir fry in an hot, oil-less and water-less (nothing else in the pan/wok) for several minutes until it gets super dry and crispyAbsolutely no problems with smell, texture or eating after that and I finished my set :). I quite liked that they're so good for calories so considering buying again

game-changer
It was the first time that I tried konjac noodles, and after having read the reviews I was expecting a vomit-inducing smell. I was mentally prepared for it when I opened the first packet, but to my surprise, they didn't smell! Please note that after the noodles I tried konjac rice from another brand, and it did smell terribly so much that it lingered also after lots of rinsing!Anyway, back to these noodles, it was an amazing surprise. I am Italian and a pasta addict, so I had them with a tomato and ricotta sauce, some parmesan and basil. Not bad at all, and you don't feel guilty! The only downside is that they gave me a very bad heartburn/ stomachache during the night. I somehow overcame the problem by cutting them in half with scissors. I had them with red curry and veg, it was also very good. All in all , apart from a digestive issue that hopefully I won't experience anymore, I am very happy with the flavour and texture of this brand, and for the fact that they don't smell at all. Next recipe is going to be with homemade pesto!

Not what expected
Very hard to chew, not soft like noodles. Wouldn’t buy again

Surprisingly - I love it
Was a bit worried as I've heard people sometimes struggle to like these, and have heard mentioned this type of noodles can have a string fishy odour. Well, I worried for nothing - they're great! When freshly opened, they smell just of fresh uncooked fish, not a terrible smell by any means. After washing off the excess liquid under a tap, then boiling them for 5min and draining again (advice from a channel on youtube), no smell remained.Regarding the texture - a little bit tough, jelly-like, but not hard to eat (just requiring a lil bit more thorough chewing). If you like glass noodles, you'd like these :) I think those that struggle with the texture probably have not had a huge variety of noodle types, and expect a very soft kind of noodle.Flavour - there is none. I honestly see them going with a whole variety of flavours, but would steer to those that are found in glass-noodle dishes, because of the texture similarity. But so far I've had them in a very simple dish with eggs, oil, butter, sesame seeds, and maggi seasoning (weird combo, I know, but yummy).Overall, they're really filling and enjoyable. Don't expect the taste of high calorie pasta/noodles, but definitely very close to glass-noodles :) will buy again.
