Patagonia's reason for being: Build the best product, cause no unnecessary harm, use business to inspire, and implement solutions to the environmental crisis. Patagonia grew out of a small company that made tools for climbers, as a result Alpinism remains at the heart of a worldwide business that still makes clothing and shoes for climbing--as well as for skiing, snowboarding, surfing, fly fishing, paddling and trail running. In each of these sports, the reward comes in the form of hard-won grace and moments of connection between the athlete and nature. Patagonia's values reflect those of a business started by a band of climbers and surfers, and the minimalist style they promoted; the approach they take towards product design demonstrates a bias for simplicity and utility. At Patagonia, a love of wild and beautiful places demands participation in the fight to save them, and to help reverse the steep decline in the overall environmental health of the planet. Patagonia donates their time, services and at least 1% of sales to hundreds of grassroots environmental groups all over the world who work to help reverse the tide, and they work steadily to reduce any pollution and harms caused by their business activity. They use recycled polyester in many of their clothes and only organic, rather than pesticide-intensive, cotton. Staying true to their core values during thirty-plus years in business has helped create a company the employees are proud to run and work for, and their focus on making the best products possible has brought success in the marketplace.

Husband loves them
My husband wanted some shoes to wear inside the house...something more than slippers, which tend to fit loosely and get too hot. These are perfect. He put some cushioning insoles in them to make them even more comfortable and he wears them all the time now (inside).

Great quality and price
Bought these for my husband for a cheaper price here than I'd seen other places. They fit well, are super high quality and he can wear them with almost any of his casual clothes. Great color, fit and materials. Definitely a purchase that was well worth it.

... a pair of these before and it almost seems like they changed the design
I had a pair of these before and it almost seems like they changed the design. These were so narrow.

Comfortable, but not walking shoes.
I call these my Viet Cong shoes. These are comfy, but certainly not walking shoes. I assume Patagucci made these for lounging around camp after taking off your hiking boots, or the lodge after skiing.. In essence, they are house slippers for granolas. These are easy to slip on, but there is no insole to speak of, so I wouldn't walk any further than to the mail box in these. However, I put in pair of custom cork insoles from some old ski boots under the meager insole, so these are now much more comfortable and useful. I still wouldn't hike in these, but I can at least wear them around the ranch, to the store, etc.... As a plus, they're easier to pack than a pair of old tennis shoes.

too small
too small it should be elastic, I rather to be in sandals that put some that is comfortable and keep your feet so tight...

Finally! A minimalist shoe I can wear anywhere
I've been looking for a minimalist shoe for work forever! Finally, Patagonia delivers! These shoes are great! They have a wide toe box, basically a very thin and almost totally flat sole, and constructed of light topside material. The grey with green color scheme looks great. The only improvement I would make is to get rid of the slight instep support that is provided on the sole to make it a perfect minimalist shoe. However, this is still the best minimalist shoe on the market for casual wear, and Patagonia is a great company!

Rain or Shine, Hot or Cold, You cannon beat em!
I have had these for about 5 months and even though it is 25 degrees outside, I just can't put them up for the season. Seriously. They are lightweight and easy to take care of. I have worn them in rain and shine, on streets and trails, and the worst thing was having to take them off while they dried in the sun. I'll be getting another pair, if these ever wear out.

LOVE IT
Pantagonia shoes are great to use and they light in weight and looks very nice with your cloth if you know how to match the colors.
