Coverage
This undercoat is a game changer for me, I hate painting as a rule as I never seem to have a satisfactory finish, but I ordered this and used it as stated and it is amazing, brilliant coverage and the top coat has a good base to grip to, it covers small gaps and cracks it can be used on woodwork and plastered walls and acts like a filler paint, it has a thick consistency but I’ve had no cracking or shrinkage, I’ve just ordered a second tin as I’ve been on a painting frenzy and used the first one up. This is definitely my go to paint from now on.

Good quality paint.
It goes on well, and it's water washable when it comes to cleaning your brushes and rollers "nice", it does produce odour but not over powering "strong urine smell " just open the windows and you have no problems, if you open too ventilation during a winter period it will clear, it just means that the paint will take longer to dry, but in closed spaces the paint dries quickly and the odour goes as it drys which is tuch dry in 30 minutes or less ready for the next coat. Overall Finnish is good i did have to apply at least three coats but due to old paint and wall fillings, sanding and treating cracked walls and a good application of PVA to stabilize the old paint underneath the new paint. And apply sugar soap too get ride of the grease "kitchen renovation " and anything that would stop the paint from sticking "adhering" to the wall properly. Dislike Amazon needs to show that they supply the paints in 2.5 and 5 and 10 litre pots or larger other supplier do it to trade or DIY. All they show are just the 2.5 litre pots some one might need to paint a hole house and not just a single room ! . Overall Leyland acrylic prime undercoat paint is a good product and it was reinforce by word of mouth by a associate who has used the product himself as a good quality product too use to prime a surface ready to be painted with the preparation for the final paint that you want that will give you the result and finish you want 👍.

Good quality paint
The Leyland paint is fantastic! It was easy to apply, with smooth coverage and great quality. I only needed a small amount for each coat, so it goes a long way. Plus, there’s no strong odor, which made it even better to work with. Highly recommend!

Leyland acrylic primer undercoat.
I have never used Leyland brand until now. This was Great. I didn't have to sand down the stained varnished wood, which I was dreading having to do. I was using it on architraving to match with the rest of the white woodwork. I gave it a couple of coats & it dries as a matt finish. Ive yet to gloss it but it took the hard work out of the preparation. It smooth application & I washed my brush off with cold water. Good stuff. I'll be using Leyland products again.

Cheaper than any other undercoat yet a favourite among the trade.
I cannot speak to long-term exterior adhesion as I have not yet laid the finishing gloss coat over it. However, what I can say is that it is easy-peasy and non-drip to apply, and it can be applied thick or just scrumbled thinly onto say a masonry surface so as to keep as much rough adhesion as possible for the finishing gloss to grip. Why gloss on an exterior wall? Just on the lower end to resist the advances of my power-washer as a gloss surface more easily copes with volumes of water. Paintbrush washes very well in water afterwards. Couple of good video reviews from tradesmen on YouTube.
