This piano is nice. My son always plays the piano when we visit my mom so we got him this for his 4 th birthday and he loves playing it. It comes with a lot of functions and a microphone as well. It has volume control so that all by itself is a win! It does have to stay plugged in for it to work unless you get batteries for it. It’s very lightweight anddurable. This would make a great gift for a child.

More than a toy, this is a fully functioning keyboard with demo songs and special effects. Requires batteries. Has plug for headphones. It would be nice if a song book had been included and keys are not marked, so it is not an introduction to learning to play, but great for someone ready to practice their skills.

The construction quality in this kids piano is lacking as they keys feel very cheaply made out of plastic. I can get around that as it's not the most expensive toy, but the biggest issue that I have with this piano is that when pressing certain chord combinations it simply does not output any sound. This is something that should work reliably even for a toy and it's frustrating when randomly a chord will not play when hitting the keys. It makes it difficult to make music.

This is meant for kids, so it's made for TINY fingers (not really for my huge hand ;)) - and it's PERFECT!This is a GREAT toy for the price, has a really nice sound (not like some of the more "tinny" versions I've tried over the years). When I was a kid, my parents got me a keyboard before I ever learned piano - it had little number stickers on the keys, so I was three or four years old, and writing "songs" by writing numbers down in sequence (in crayon, what else?) and singing them to my folks. It showed them my aptitude and they got me into piano lessons as soon as I was old enough to have the self-discipline to "practice" -So take that "numbers stickers" idea and run with it, if you like! This little keyboard will be perfect for your budding musician. And it comes with a microphone, so they could put on a little concert for you or with their siblings/friends.We have a bazillion AA batteries in the house, so it's easiest for our purposes to use those - but I love the simplicity of this "toy" - which .. btw, I will be using to write some more music since I don't currently have a piano. I just need to be able to figure out the chords to write a guitar lead sheet, and I'm off and running!

It had demos, didn't musical instrument sounds, beats and so much more. You can use it plugged in or with batteries. My daughter likes to play with the keys, I'm hoping she may spark an interest in really learning how to play songs. The manual definitely helps you understand how to work it. There is a lot of stuff and buttons.
