This is a decent set of larger hair clips. I have thick and long hair, and the clips still struggle a bit to hold it. I like the colors and the look of the material/coating. The clips feel nice too, not so plastic-y as my last clip. The paint (coat?) job on my clips isn't the best (see inside light clip, or middle light clip when closed) but that's okay because I'll only be using the clips at home anyway, no fancy parties. Before I had a single clip from Walmart about this size that was quite expensive so I thought this was a nice deal, 4 for $9.99 when I ordered. On Amazon the sets are certainly cheaper than singles at Walmart, and compared to other offers this one is not the cheapest. But I like the shape better than a lot of blocky clips that are offered now, these rounded clips seem to hold more hair to me. All in all, I think this is a nice set for the money.

I have VERY thick, slightly wavy hair. Most hair items labeled as “for thick hair” do nothing to contain my hair or break on the first use. But these clips are AMAZING!! They keep my hair in a tight bun, even while exercising. They are also very comfortable. They are also very durable. The tines are strong and none have broken off. The spring part is strong.

The claw part has just enough curve to grip all of my hair without having any excess ‘teeth’ which lends to a clean look to any hair style you have your hair in that day. I also love that the pinch handle is smaller too… again lending to a sleeker hair style. Keeps my hair up all day long during my errands!!! Really great hair tool!

These clips hold thick long hair great! I've been using daily for a few weeks now and will buy again.

These clips can't handle a spray of deluded alcohol for disinfecting. I prayed the black one after dropping it in dirty water and all the paint started to wrinkle and rub off.One of the brown ones fell and chipped to. I understand fall damage but the fact you can't use any kind of cleaner of them is odd. At least I still have two.
