This is a nice little set of muffs to keep in your shooting bag for either a guest or that special occasion when your really expensive active headset runs out of juice while you're at the range. An added bonus is they fold in on themselves so the storage space is negligible.While I use hearing protection mainly for shooting sports I agree with the vendor these would be useful wherever protection is required - yard equipment, loud events and such. This makes the 'passive' feature of this muff even more valuable since for use in the yard they are normally stored in a hot shed which trashes batteries.I received the Army Green color and they look exactly like the listing. In fact the vendor has done an excellent job of documenting pretty much everything about this set. So what can I add?Well my ears are probably towards mid-large side and they tuck in nicely. Once all snuggled it this muff is very comfortable. Note that the ear pad is vinyl (or something similar) so in really hot weather you might sweat a little but that would be true with virtually any material that provides a good seal (including leather).Fitment is simple. You plop these on your noggin then hold the headband on the top of your head while pulling down on each muff to adjust for the correct length. The vendor provides these instructions in their listing and yes it's that easy.Noise reduction is rated as 24 dB. I have no way of telling actual reduction but can say these work fine for their intended purpose.Overall everyone needs at least 1 passive form of ear protection in their shooting bag, shed or sport duffle and I'd highly recommend these.

I really like that these fold down to a small, compact size. It makes them easier to transport and to store yet does not affect the functionality. I get a good seal all the way around and the ear muffs are tight enough that they don't move around but are still comfortable to wear for a long period. There were a bunch of color choices but I liked the blue color. There is some height adjustment in the head band but it didn't seem to be all that critical to me. They fit and stayed in place without me making any adjustments to them. Overall a very solid choice.

I was looking for ear protection for the range that wold be more comfortable than the electronic setI use today. On that set the ear canals are shallower and because I double up with in ear protection and the outer electronic pair, over the course of the hour they become uncomfortable. This ear protection seems to solve that problem for me. The ear pad areas are deeper and seem to form a better fit that what I currently use. The have an almost suction to them when putting them on. The sound isolation is very good. The door and texture is very nice as well. The paint material is like a matte texture and on one side there is a Punisher logo. Recommend

These earmuffs should be just fine for shooting. They really protect my ears from noise. In a normal environment, I can kind of hear what's going on around me but it's really muffled. Can hear if people are talking but not necessarily what they're saying. I've been using hearing protection like this since the 90's for shooting, and at 45, I don't have hearing problems. These will deaden moderately loud noises enough that they won't be harmful. The earmuffs themselves are comfortable enough and really keep pressed against my ears. They adjust to a level much bigger than my own head, so these will fit a large range of head sizes and still be effective. Good enough for me!

I got these for protection at the range. They are really adjustable. The ear pieces go up and down and are kind of on a swivel so they can be out or in more where needed. My whole ear fit inside the muff part. They were comfortable to wear too. No issues with slipping down or being too loose to stay put. Sound reduction was great. I can’t say the decibel level but I felt protected for sound purposes. The design and color options were great too!
