Would you recommend this cap for running?

I wear the cap for taming various big cats, usually lions and also a family of gorillas that where rescued from the depths of the Borneo jungles.

Is it okay to put this through a washing machine on the 30°C "hand wash" cycle?

We typically recommend spot cleaning with a damp cloth. You can also try to wash your cap in the washing machine or dish washer, however this would be at your own risk. We would recommend using a Baseball Cap Washer, so it doesn’t lose its shape.

Whats this hat like in winter rain etc

I use that hat as the sun shade one, because of technical parameters, so not sure that is designated for rain.
The best rain one I have from company Salomon and this one is superb for that job.
