Glad I only needed 3 of them for dialing in the right brightness on my under-counter led lights in my kitchen. Soldered the second one in before testing and found it was dead. Light comes on but no output from the unit. De-soldered, soldered in next one, works perfectly.Been using them for about a month now and they're still working just fine. No humming, no buzzing no noise whatsoever from the unit or my power supplies (3A 12VDC power supply bought on amazon, the usual cheap ones in metal housing and screw connectors for power in/out).FYI, tested load on my LED strips, longest one only pulls 2.4A, so well below the posted max of 5 amps.

I bought this to dim a led backlight on a monitor, and everything should have worked. The power supply for the panel is rated at a max of 4A and 12V which are both with in the spec of the dimmer. I wired it up correctly, and was able to dim the backlight just as intended. Then I noticed the cap bulging and before I could pull the power, BOOM, the cap is no more (and all over my kitchen).

The media could not be loaded.  These work great for small projects, I use them to make custom led lights. They are easy to modify

They work well to light 12v led strips. Decently durable,I had 1 out of 5 thay didn't work, so that's why 4 star rating
