This is very amusing
A very amusing podcast. Not as funny as the TV shows though.

Not 'top banter'. Saaa..aa..sad!
Sadly, Coogan does not stick this one in the 'back of the net'. Lazy, tired writing, with none of the well observed, awkward brilliance of the first two seasons. (Sample 'joke': 'Radio Four? Radio Four..teen more like!"... Alan giggles smugly for 30 seconds). Would it be terribly rude to do stop listening to you Alan and go and listen to someone else?

amazing writing and voice acting.
People always want more of Partridge. Why? Because Steve and his team of writers write nothing but excellence. Ive listened to comedy audio books and nothing has come close to this series and his audio books. The direction, voice work and story is just fantastic. You cant help be drawn in within the first few moments. They know when to drop in swearing sparingly so its affective and works so well rather than every other word like some audio books.Everything has to work to make something this good and it does. Enjoy it and I hope they make many more.

Filled with insight
I never get tired of AP. I like this season better than season 2. I don’t think the quality of advice offered and wisdom on life is in any way diminished. A particular highlight was his commentary on the coronation.

Iconic as always but some repeated jokes
Still the best character writing going, but a lot of repeated jokes here (flexi-grief, hospital radio songs, Daiwoo) and when your market is superfans, everyone knows.

Alan is a kindly king king KONG!
Series 3 of from the Oasthouse is superb, just as good as the other two, 11 cracking episodes the stand outs for me were “ Car Laureate “ , “ Jingle “, “ Coronation” & “ Newcastle “ plus hearing Lynn’s voice more in this series was an added bonus … A-ha!!

Oh dear...
One or two other reviews say the same. Perhaps Its took me a while to realize but the whole thing just isn't amusing any more. A laugh or two. Then periods of thinking what is going on. I was happy to get this as a gift but had I paid I would be very (with a big V) disappointed. The whole thing reminiscent of a wind up airplane with the rubber band running out of energy. Is it time to quite while he is a head?....
