Excellent peanut powder
I've been searching for a peanut powder to replace the FreshFinds brand that I was able to get at BigLots...now that they've closed and cannot order online...my search led me to MicroIngredients Pure Peanut Butter Powder. This is pure peanut powder, no sodium/sugar added...P U R E. I start with 60g and add one of the following: honey, sorghum, molasses or maple syrup to sweeten...nothing more than 2 tsp...and enough hot coffee to moisten into a creamy spread.I eat this daily with my banana...incredibly delicious, full of protein, very satisfying.Again, this is pure peanut butter powder, so if you're conditioned to taste peanut butter as salty and sweet, you'll need to adjust your end-use recipe. Don't hesitate to order the 4# bag, you can split it up into smaller airtight containers, date each one and save for at least 12-18 months. Excellent value.

Quality ingredients, just add taste lol
Great way to get vegan protein! Not grainy for me, smooth and I can tell a difference when I’ve gotten the protein.I recommend adding ice for texture and a bit of peanut butter if you make drinks/smoothies. Very good this way.

Tasteless and not chalky
Seriously better than any other protein powder. Doesn't change the taste of your shake. Isn't chalky. Super great for smoothies.

"Unflavored" does not equal flavorless!
It's not bad for the price, but there are a few things to note that, had I known them before I purchased this, I may not have. One, pea protein still very much tastes like powdered peas, so you won't be throwing it into random recipes like unflavored whey isolates without completely ruining the flavor. You'll have to be creative and add it to savory things like soups or broths. Or beat some in with a few eggs to make a pretty killer "protein pancake" that goes great with sour cream, salted butter, guacamole, or even chili on top.Another important issue: pea protein only contains 8 of the 9 essential amino acids, so you can't live off of just this as a primary source of protein. Especially if you're a gastric sleeve owner like me, you'll need something more complete, like whey isolate. That said, I'm still using this up, slowly but surely. It's not all bad, given how cheap it was, and does the trick when used sparingly and appropriately. Just... well, go into this knowing that it's not just some run-of-the-mill flavorless protein powder you're gonna willy-nilly throw into any- and everything to enrich your diet. That's an idea you'll quickly regret. I'm not sure if that's just THIS brand or ALL pea proteins, hence I'm not about to knock it down too much for that.Like I said - I'm using it up, one way or another; I just won't be ordering more, and that's probably no fault of the manufacturer. If you know what you're buying, then I'm sure it's a fine product. Just not for gastric bypass patients and/or the uninitiated, like me.

YES!
This pea protein is my go to. Exactly what it says it is and there's no added flavors, no bitter aftertaste, and it comes w/ a scoop for portioned sizes. I highly recommend sifting before using because it naturally clumps up, but I've been blending it with soy milk and it makes for a great milkshake. Excellent value as well

Awesome for Shakes
Very good product for making nutrition/protein shakes with. I add this Peanut Powder, whey protein, greens mix and other fruits/veggies and it comes out great every time. I used to add a spoonful of peanut butter but this is way easier, has lower fat/oils and doesn't leave a mess. I could see this being incorporated into baking, too, but I haven't tried that yet. Huge 4 lb bag should last a while. Recommended!

Behold, The Gates of Despair
I held off on writing this review until I was through half the 5lb bag of this stuff to make sure I didn’t adapt to it: I did not. I will preface this by saying I have no allergies, gastrointestinal disorders, illnesses, and I eat clean 90% of the time. This stuff is vile. It tastes like mulch even with additives, it’s messy, the powder gets everywhere, and it hates water with a passion. It clumps, refuses to mix, compacts itself, and leaves residue everywhere. And it tears your stomach to shreds. It is by no means gentle on your stomach, easy, or good. It unleashes unholy wrath upon your gut and colon. Thirty minutes after drinking this, you will be passing gas every thirty seconds that smells like you’re trying to weld copper inside a tank of raw sewage and roadkill. Every. Single. Time. You will have diarrhea. You will sit on the toilet and think the worst has passed only to stand back up and immediately sit back down for another round with Porcelain Mike. You will bloat, you will drive away your friends and family, and scare your pets. Your stomach will cramp, and every pasty squirt of tepid evil that comes out of your backside will be inundated with this death powder as I fully believe there is far, far more indigestible fiber in this stuff than is advertised. The powder will fall out of your liquid stool and gather at the bottom of the toilet bowel as if you had never mixed this stuff in a blender. Also, you will ONLY mix this stuff in a blender. There is no shaker cup on this planet that is capable of getting this substance to mix into water. This isn’t a protein powder. This isn’t good for macros. It is literally biological warfare in a bag and should be banned from public consumption under the Geneva Convention.

Hoping for Gains
I've heard that protein intake and creatine are the only supplements that have science to prove they work. I whisk it into 2 cps of water and drink it like that. I found that adding a drop of olive oil cuts down the foamy head that forms. It tastes a little like peas. Whey protein didn't agree with my stomach. I think the lead content is probably low enough that my iron consumption should keep it from being a serious problem.
