The strap appears well made and of decent material. Sadly the clip continues to loosen and on two occasions I have had to catch my camera as the catch became insecure. It looks a good product but my experience indicates otherwise. I will have to pay more and get a decent brand - great idea and it is comfortable when working but security is paramount and my experience over the last three months indicates that it is not worth risking your camera with one of these. The problem is that the securing screw unwinds no matter how much you tighten it.

this doesnt stay on your shoulder, everytime i used my camcorder at an airshow to take a photo that padded part of the stray had to be moved back onto my shoulder making it a poor design, it has cheap flimsy plastic parts to hold the nylon straps i place, i cant see how the price reflects the work that goes into this. plus the extra tether wire was missing from my sealed pack ! they fail to provide useful instructions on how to ajust the strap to make it shorter if you need to, these days at least link to a youtube account with a good demo video. not happy will be sending mine back

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  Received this last week and just used it for the first time at an event this weekend.Very comfortable to wear and felt very strong, I wasn't worried at all that the camera would fall.

This was sent promptly so no issue with the seller on this. This item does not, however, fit my Canon EOS 5D MKII, MKIII and 200D. The screw goes in about one turn and does not go any further in. Most of the screw is visible outside of the camera as it does not screw in flush to the actual body - this is the same on all three of my cameras. I would not feel confident using this item and would certainly not reccomend it for expensive cameras. I am therefore returning this item.

I needed a strap that would provide security, ease of use and not be too expensive. This is just the job.My main interest is Landscape and Street photography which entails, for me, walking quite long distances.This strap enables me to not hold the camera all the time, which gives my ever increasing arthritic hands a rest.Update on this strap, as I've used it for a few moths now, very good. I would advise anyone with an SLR/DSLR or one of the large bridge cameras to invest in this type of strap. I will admit that I still hold my camera most of the time, but this strap, if adjusted correctly, takes the weight, so minimizing the strain on hands/arms. I think the shoulder pad could be a bit wider, enabling the weight to be spread over a larger area, but it's reasonable as it is.

I have a Nikon D7200 and when I fit a long ZOOM lens it is really heavy. the strap supplied with the camera is strong enough for the job but really uncomfortable. This strap is well padded and with the same weight what a difference! I carried the camera with the same zoom lens on the strap for about 6 hours with no discomfort at all.

If I was taller, this strap would have got five stars for comfort, not the four I gave it, but as I am below average height I find it difficult to get it to a right length, but I imagine anyone above 5' 8" would have no problem. That said, the strap takes the weight of my Nikon D7200 with 18-70mm zoom very nicely indeed, inspiring confidence in its security. The broad part of the strap is well padded which spreads the weight VERY comfortably indeed, and the camera is always readily to hand. Good value, strongly made, and despite my limitations, I have no qualms in recommending this strap.

Nice sturdy strap with good connections but my first time using one and did not like at all. You will need to know whether you like the camera in its position, hanging upside down and low on the body with not full control over the strap, length, e.g set it to how you think it fits but pull the camera up to use and you could, as I did, find it stops short, the strap on one side of the camera tight under the arm with the camera only as far as your chin. Adjusting to good use somehow didn't seem to make it comfortable and I soon disliked the attachment method. Cannot really beat the over the shoulder/around neck options of a normal strap. Have kept it without using outside. Likely another item for the charity shop.
