This is a nice simple chain. I like that it's silver so it should be durable.

A very nicely crafted sterling silver chain that seems like it would resist all my efforts to accidentally break it. The clasp is a lobster with good spring and is stamped according to silver content, S925.I have many silver pendants that have been waiting for this chain. You've made them very happy. :)

NOTE: pendant in picture not included with necklace chain.I ordered this necklace chain to replace a broken one that went with my favorite pendant (pictured). What I like about this chain is that it’s sturdy, yet it’s still pretty and didn’t overwhelm my pendant. Also, it has a sturdy lobster clasp (sturdy for a necklace, that is; I don’t advise pulling/yanking the clasp). At one point the chain kinked, and I panicked, thinking it wouldn’t come out (as has happened with other necklace chains). But it immediately unkinked, so no big deal. The dress I am wearing in the picture has a high neckline, and the length of the necklace was perfect for that. I do like this chain!

Definitely take a close look at the width of 2.1mm. You notice there are no pictures of this chair around anyone's neck? There is a reason for that: The enlarged picture of the chain makes the size of the links seem bigger than they are. It is a nice chain, and the silver is shiny and new, and it comes with a tiny polishing cloth. But don't be deceived by the size of 2.1mm. And don't be expecting a large chain suitable for wearing without a pendant.

This chain seems to be what it says it is – a sturdy silver link box chain. It is not delicate, and has a little weight to it, so would be suitable for men or women. It is also not too clunky as to be ostentatious. The “wow” factor will come with whatever you decide to hang from it. Without a pendant, it is very plain. It came a bit dark, but the supplied grey cleaning cloth helped remove the tarnish. I got it to display a chunky silver pendant, and it works great for that purpose, being sort of a plain backdrop to an interesting piece of art. It looks like it could hold up to a lot of use. It also comes with a small felt bag to put it in for travel.
