Enclosure for drive is good value
While plastic, it seems durable enough to last. Circuits are enclosed so less likely for damage. Case is easy to open/close once you figure it out. Much more user friendly than the metal enclosures. Also considerably less expensive.

Effective and Cheap!
Good, cheap way to repurpose old laptop hard drives. Works perfectly. Connection is via a USB 3.0 Micro Plug Type B, so if you loose the cord it may be tough to replace quickly.

Fantastic Enclosure
The mounting of the drive in the case is so simple. I love the pressure clips on the sides to hold the drive solidly in place. I like remove drives with malware and connect them to my computer. As a filed tech, it's not easy to take the external stand with me everywhere but with this, I can take out my drive and run the antivirus and other software on the users drive without using the drivers for the customers computer. The mounting bracket that for the drive has pins at the rear to hold the drive in place within the enclosure so it doesn't bounce around in the chassis as some do.
