I have a 2014 Kia Sorento and have used an iOttie dash mount phone holder similar to this Romuto. However, the way the iOttie is designed it puts the phone high on the dash obstructing my view of the road to a degree and it was a little too far away to reach conveniently. Plus it uses a spring loaded gripping mechanism to hold the phone that was somewhat difficult to open and close. The iOttie worked great with my One Plus Nord N200 but I just purchased a Motorola G 5G and bought a case with magnetic capability. The metal kickstand on the back of the case made the case thicker and the iOttie was somewhat questionable on its ability to hold the phone securely. Thus the purchase of the Romuto.What I like most about the Romuto is that it holds the phone much lower relative to the dash giving a better view of the road. One concern I had was whether it would block the view of my infotainment center. It does not and I can easily get to all the infotainment controls and still see the clock built into the dash. And, the magnets are strong enough to hold the phone securely but release the phone easily. A nice balance! Doing so brings the phone closer to me and by rotating the arm to the left I avoided covering up my infotainment center.Side note: My new phone uses Android 13. This feature automatically unlocks your phone when paired with these devices so you no longer have the hassle of constantly unlocking your phone when the screen goes black. Using Google Assistant can now let you be totally hands free making you a much safer driver!

I bought this for my truck. so it bounces around quite a bit. The phone stay on it no matter what and it stays stuck to the dash. Suction is great, magnetic is great. and i like the size, just enough to hold the phone, nothing overly sized. recommend!

Love it. I followed the instruction to install and it was good and ready the first time, and has not moved since (about a month later). I wish I had gotten it sooner!

Magnet very strong and stays on the dash

I’ve had a variety of these gadgets over the years and each one had some sort of shortcoming: the phone holder wasn’t strong enough to take the weight, the magnet was too weak, and so on. So I was actually reluctant to try again after so many failures and disappointments. Let me say I was surprised and definitely not disappointed.First off, I’ll start by saying the biggest complaint I’ve had with magnetic phone holders was the support mechanism. A suction cup support system is good, but not always reliable. I had too many bad experiences of it failing when most needed. These of course occurred when I needed to use my phone’s GPS.So I have to say the best feature of this gadget is the strength of the suction cup mounting system. I live in Arizona where temps typically run between 95 and 110. I initially had a lot of doubt about how well the mount could endure the heat and stay attached to my car’s dash. To my surprise it still has a death grip on my dash. Amazing! No more phone slippage and no more frustration. I can now use my phone GPS without any aggravation.Good job guys, you have a reasonably priced product that delivers everything as promised!

Suction only lasts a few minutes. If it is hot outside, it lasts a few seconds. I had something similar before and it was great. This is a waste of money

The product works as intended. Suction power is great, easy to install and fairly sturdy. The unit does shake during driving but I have had other mounts in the past that did the same. The only reason I am giving it 3 stars is due to the adhesive mounting plate in which the suction portion of the mount attaches. The adhesive plate you apply before you use the suction clamp on the mount will slowly peel away from the mounting surface in hot weather. I have only used the unit for a month and it was fine during cool climate but lately the weather is getting warmer that's when the adhesive plate started to peel away from the dash board.

The product I purchased came in quickly, was packaged nicely, and was in great working condition. I am very happy with my purchase.
