The Collected Tales & Poems of Edgar Allan Poe (Special Editions)

I have always loved Poe's tales and poetry. Actually bought the book more for reference than to sit down with to read. I do a lot of crosswords and this will help me with them!

Excellent book great prompt service

As described, well packaged and promptly sent. Nobody does it quite like Poe. I find his writing annoying at times but the stories pull me though.

The book arrived in good time and in good condition but was not as ordered. I love the poems and stories of Edgar Allan Poe and was attracted to the cover of this book. The skull and raven I find very appealing.Unfortunately the edition I received has a very different abstract and swirly cover design not at all for me a reflection of the author or his work.So disappointed with this.Having said that it is a good collection of Poes’ work just a shame about the cover.

I bought it for holiday reading and enjoying it so far, I would recommend it to any Edgar Allan Poe fan.

Bought as gift, recipient very pleased.

If you like Gothic literature, you like Poe. If you like Detective stories like Sherlock Holmes you better like Poe first, since his Lupin was the role model for Conan Doyles Homles. Poe is a master that knows how to compose a thrilling short-story and his only stain in my opinion remains his only novel "The narrative of Arthur Gordon Pim", also included in this collection.

Essa edição é grande (tem mais de 300 páginas), o material do miolo tem a folha fina, mas não fica transparente para ler. A capa é bem bonita e o trabalho de separação entre contos/poemas é bem estruturada, o que facilita a localização dos textos. A diagramação é boa, a colagem não impede a leitura, pois o recuo é bem definido.O material do livro é leve, apesar da quantidade de páginas, não é um volume pesado. Recomendo muito essa edição, pois além de ser bastante vasta, está na língua original de composição do autor. Para quem lê em inglês, essa edição é essencial.

Más de mil páginas con casi todos sus cuentos y casi 60 poemas. Buena calidad de encuadernación y de acabados.
