Canon No 8 Cyan Ink Cartridge (Chromalife 100 Ink, CLI-8C )

Great purchase if you need Canon products but their printers are notoriously expensive to run. Also Canon seem somewhat behind in maintaining their drivers so my printer became obsolete on a Windows upgrade.No reflection on this purchase which was fine.

Can't go wrong with Canon Ink. Value for money and the print quality is excellent. Please ensure the paper you use is also high quality.

If you're looking for an ink cartridge and your Canon printer takes these (mines the incredibly good MPR600) then get these. Don't try to save a few quid with syringes or supposedly compatible versions, you never actually save money.Also these cartridges have chips on them to tell the printer what you have is genuine, so unless you want to through the hassle of slicing an old one off and sticking on to a compatible version you should go with these.Slightly expensive but they seem to last a long time (until the kids go made with A4 full colour printing (Grrr!) and I've never had a problem with one.

I purchased a Canon ink as I have done many times before from Amazon.As it is a Canon manufactured product, the only consideration is price.Unfortunately I went straight to the one click order system, based upon the lowest price shown, which was being supplied by Amazon instead of one of their regular sub suppliers.Once that route is taken, rather than using the shopping basket , there is no possibility of rescinding the order. At that point I discovered that postage and VAT were being added.The effect was that I paid about 50% more than I normally do for the same item, or need to have done on this occasion.The delivery was slower than usual, thus I was totally unhappy with the experience.That's a mistake I shall not repeat and will always check out Amazon's own supply in future.The way it was presented was misleading.

Great price for a named brand , cheaper than the big stores

Good colour quality but very expensive for general use.

I used to buy refilled cartridges until I started to take a greater interest in the quality of my photo printing. With my monitor calibrated and paper profiles installed why waste money by using cheaper inks. With Canon inks in my Canon printer what I see on my monitor is exactly what my printer delivers. An added bonus is the inks don't appear to fade like cheaper inks no matter where you hang the photos.
