Comes with a simple carrying case. 4 outdoor balls - orange in color (good choice). And you get two ball retrievers to put on the handle end of the paddle to save on your back picking up the balls (if you chose).Fiberglass face with honeycomb core. Makes for a paddle that can still hit the ball hard. And the honeycomb core gives you a nice sweat spot for some control, as well.The face design is very cool (see my pics). The paddle texture is nice and does allow for generation of spin. You can feel the imagery, but the nice part is the center image is a circle right around the sweet spot - so should have little to no effect.The only thing I found a bit wanting was the grip could have been a bit better - thicker and soft. Felt very thin. Granted, it was an ok grip. Could easily sweat in it and not have any concerns, but I could feel the handle if I squeezed. Ideally, you don't want that.Nice weight on the paddle. Not too heavy, not too light.Was able to hit the ball fairly hard (I'm a "banger"). But then also had fairly decent volley control. Was able to spin the ball ok.. but not nearly as much as my higher dollar paddle.Last thing is that these are USAPA approved paddles. Big bonus. As there are paddles coming out of the woodworks with the way this sport has taken off in the US. And not all these paddles are.So you can freely take these to a tournament and not have any issues.So I'd rate these paddles as ones that you can start with all the way thru intermediate play. And look cool, doing it.

My husband & I decided to hop on the bandwagon & give pickleball a try. I had tried out a few other paddles so I had a general idea of what to expect. I like that this set has everything we need, the inclusion of the ball retriever is very convenient. I always keep a ball on there so I'll have one if I somehow forget the extras.The handle grip is comfortable, it truly is non-slip as well. The paddle itself is lightweight but it's got some power to it, you can thump it pretty good. They can take a bit of a beating too without showing any sign of wear. I think the pattern looks a little goofier in person compared to online, like some computer image that was blown up too large & looks slightly pixelated. I'm happy with the functionality of the set though & I like the bag to keep everything together & organized.

I know nothing about pickleball, except its fun to play and great exercise! These paddles work wonderfully and the balls are great too. The carrying bag is very basic but holds the kit together. I have been immensely enjoying playing pickleball with my husband and friends since I got this kit. Highly recommend.

Although it won't help your game, these APA paddles look great. They come with ball retrievers if you're lazy. They grip comfortably, play well, and should last for quite a while. Those are the most important parts of the paddles. As for the rest, they are good but not quite state of the art. They come with 4 balls, but all are outdoor. There is no divider in the case so I put one in right side up and one upside down to keep them from scratching each other. I will probably use another case. Instead of the standard mesh on the outside of the bag they give you a separate mesh bag. It is bigger and the sealer works well, but it is one more thing to carry. Some way to attach it to the bag would have made this a clear winner instead of a tie. Lastly, it is one zipper all the way around instead of two that can meet in the middle. All in all very minor quibbles so I still gave it a 5 star. You won't be disappointed with these paddles. If you have a better case I would swap it and you'll have it all.
