I knew I needed something airtight with darker glass so that the viability of the spores would be preserved. The Ks-Tek 20 mL vials help me do exactly that. I’ve been using their 10 mL vials for a while and was excited to try this larger volume capacity. What I like most is that this larger volume allows me to fill two standard 10 cc (10 mL) syringes. This is enough volume to start multiple batches of lion’s mane mushrooms. After repeated uses the self healing ports have been holding up great and kept the samples isolated from the outside environment. I’ve used other 20 mL vessels and found I really enjoyed the short stout shape of these vials. This makes it easy to grip for a while and to avoid dropping. Overall a great choice in sterile vials.

These are large & made with colored glass. I’d assume they can hold a lot & keep the contents protected from light. I do not understand how one would remove the metal cap, inject their solution & be able to keep the contents sterile. Interesting what can be bought on Amazon.

These are good quality vials. Each vial includes a lid that is easy enough to remove and install. I loved that it came with labels that you could choose to use or not use. The vials were perfect for my needs.
