i have a citizen watch i ordered 20 mm but the 2 metal pieces that fit into the watch are too short will a 22mm work or is it too short ?

Measure the distance where the band goes on the watch. Write it down. Divide the number of mm by 25.4. Compare this answer to the number you wrote down from your measurement. Example: 22 mm divided by 25.4 = .866 inches approx. 7/8 inches. You can do this with any watch to find the right band.
