Bone Conduction Headphones, Borofone Titanium Wireless Open Ear Bluetooth Sports Headset - Grey

I had tried a higher end version of this technology that belonged to a friend and decided to try to save some money and give these a try instead. There is a reason why things are less expensive. They work, but not nearly as well as the more expensive brand. Sound bleed is terrible. Music could be heard across the room above the sound of a TV. In addition, at certain frequencies (a lot with voices) the things would vibrate to the point of being annoying. In addition, they are kind of bulky. Do they work....sure. But, they are not even close in performance to others. If you are really wanting open ear headphones and you are going to use them a lot, do yourself a favor and spend more on a better designed product. If you are going to just be riding your bike and want something so you can hear what's around you....these would work.

OK. Im not sure how this product has so many 5 star reviews. I depended on those reviews and ordered this product, but what I got was best described by those who left the 1-2 star reviews. First, the sound quality on these headphones leave much to be desired. At a normal volume level, the mid and treble ranges were less than lacking in sound quality. Second, these are NOT bone conduction headphones. Do they vibrate? Yes. Can EVERYONE else hear your music too? YES! I tested this with my wife and even at the lowest volume setting, she could still hear the music. Do yourself a favor and buy something else. These really are just expensive headphones that play music NEXT to your ear, but definitely NOT through bone conduction. I sent mine back the day after I received them. Although I liked being able to listed to music and be able to hear audible sounds around me, these are nothing more than outer ear headphones that vibrate, but they are not bone conduction. If I wanted headphones like these I could have just used the ones I have now and hung them outside my ear and turned the volume up so they vibrated. What a joke. Save your money.

These are not bad. Obviously the sound is not like it would be with over the ear headsets but overall it was pretty good. The volume was also fairly loud but if you turned them up all the way they would start to vibrate and you would have to turn the volume down a little.The battery life is also not bad and they would last a solid 6 hours of not longer. I have now owned them for 7 months and there is definitely some physical damage on them and I don't really man handle them. I have also noticed they are not as loud as they used to be and they are disconnecting every now and then for no reason what soever. They never used to do that. All in all not bad. I paid $70 for them Co when and the price has come down to $42 now so not too bad and I would definitely pay that for them now!

I have a pair of Trex Titanium bone-conduction headphones that my son really liked, so I tried this far less expensive alternative with the plan of giving them to my son. These are virtually identical in sound quality (superb), light weight sturdy construction, and reasonably easy to buttons to control He loves them, they are great, and I recommend them from the start!

I was disappointed in the performance, especially on the low end of the frequency spectrum. The mid to lower bass is weak, also the configuration of the headband was not comfortable on my neck. As I moved my head up or down, the positioning of the drivers would move. The sound quality was best if I was looking slightly up. I returned my set. As soon as I get my refund I will be buying AfterShokz Trekz. I tried Trekz product and the lower end sound quality was superior.

I bought these for my morning runs. I liked the idea of being able to hear music without blocking the surrounding sounds. The quality was ok but I'm not into high end just for running. I used these two-three times a week. After a few months I started having issues with the buttons, now after 6 months of use they do not work at all. The price has come down some on these since I originally purchased, but still not worth getting only 6 months use. I'll stick to the ear buds at a fraction of the cost of these.

Note these do not adjust at all, so if your head isn't the right size, they're super uncomfortable. They fit when i sit still, but the position of leaning forward while on a bike causes them to pull back against the tragus (the bump on the front side of your ear). Also, they don't work well with glasses as they rely on going over the top of your ear where glasses would go. If there was some sort of adjustment, you may be able to make them work, but unfortunately you're stuck with what you get here.

Loved it at first but after about a month of using the product just a few times one morning it just did not work anymore... it just decided to die. Contacted Amazon and since it was a third party seller I got instructed to contact the seller directly for warranty. The seller was extremely helpful and even though the product totally failed they made sure to go the extra mile for us and completely made us happy. Offered a full refund and made our experience with them very satisfying. I will advise you to AVOID this product at all cost because it is simply not good... the seller was great!!! Will buy from them again.
