If you have a flambe Torch, you will have absolutely no problem with this product. If you do not have a Torch, I highly recommend you use this site to find one immediately! Then you will have no complaints.

I enjoy using my hookah when I'm on my days off from work. Usually I'll go out to my garage about once a week and smoke for about an hour. I normally use the round, quick lighting hookah charcoals, but thought I'd give these a try. I did run into an issue right away, but that was my own fault for not reading the full description. You can't light these with a normal lighter, you need to get what amounts to an electric burner, set these "charcoals" on the burner, and wait for them to get nice and glowing which can take a little bit. Now compared to the normal charcoals, these are good in the fact that they don't seem to generate any real smell or taste of their own and they leave very little ash behind. As for the longevity, here the product fails a little bit. It claims one will last an hour+, but at about 45 minutes mine was pretty much done. It was so small by that point it wasn't really working anymore.Overall, if you're in a hurry or want a good long smoke, I'd recommend sticking with "normal" quick light charcoals. But if you have the time to get them lit, these work decently, and even if they don't last as long, you're getting at least 120 in a package that cost around the same as what you might spend for around 20-30 quick light ones.

This charcoal almost ruined my party. We brought out our hookahs and I tried this charcoal and we couldn't get it to light up. We torched this stuff and it just didn't catch. Thankfully we had other charcoal on stand by but using this charcoal was a flop. The price was a decent price for the amount you were getting buy that doesn't matter if they can't be used.
