Crime and Punishment (Collector's Editions) (Wordsworth Collector's Editions)

Don't get me wrong, it's beautifully written but it does get damaged very easily. There is also a good amount of old English in here that I had to use Google for. It's also bigger then expected. Nevertheless it's a beauty.

I recently added the 'Crime and Punishment' Collector's Edition to my library. While the book itself is a timeless masterpiece, this edition was smaller in size than I anticipated. It's still a beautifully presented volume, perfect for collectors, but keep in mind its compact nature. Four stars for the quality and charm, despite the size surprise.

Great entry in the collection, though the font is big so it’s a bit of a brick!

O livro chegou bastante rápido, demorou uma semana e pouco. As letras são grandes e as páginas agradáveis.No entanto veio com danos na capa e na lombada. A capa e contracapa vinham manchas de tinta em algumas partes (que não deveriam ter) e perto de onde da ponta do machado, apresenta uma falha na cor, mesmo não sendo muito visível na fotografia. Além disso, o livro veio bastante "descolado" da capa, talvez devido ao tamanho dele, não sei bem.

The story is one of a very dark nature, but with very distinct personalities making for unforgettable characters. The Constance Garnett translation is very well written. The leather-bound edition is excellent, with gilt edges and a cloth bookmark. A very good book for the shelf of any serious bookworm or collector of leather-bound classics.
