being a baby boomer myself,,, I turned on their music player and said play Lil red riding hood , but sam the sham and the pharos,, and that became my granddaughters GO TO song... she'd do the wolf so well, and dance with me all the time. So had to buy this book so she'd know the story behind the song.. She is young but so cute to dance with and read with...

Non-gruesome version of Little Red Riding Hood!
This version of Little Red Riding Hood is ideal for our three year old. After purchasing a set of Ladybird fairy tales we were disappointed that they all had gruesome endings, so I was looking for a version that didn't involve killing or slicing open the wolf! This version is a gentle version with lovely illustrations and our daughter loves it.
