Absorbs Fast with no Oily or White Residue
The sunscreens I typically use leave a greasy residue that doesn't quite absorb into the skin. Not with this Sonrei Clearly ZinQ Mineral Sunscreen. I sprayed some into my palm and then applied it to my exposed skin. The name implies that it's a mist; however, I found that it came out in a puddle rather than a mist. The liquid was whitish and unscented. My first impression was that it would go on thick. However, as I rubbed it into my skin it absorbed quickly with no hint of the white I normally experience with zinc oxide products. I can barely tell that it's there once it absorbed. It's lightweight, non-greasy, and fast drying. My skin feels like I've applied a moisturizing lotion, rather then sunscreen.I really don't mind the way it sprays out of the can. I actually feel like I have more control by spraying into the palm of my hand, then applying it.The label states it's safe for kids, which is wonderful. I enjoy taking our granddaughter to the zoo and always had to bring two different bottles of sunscreen. One for me and a child-approved type for her. Now I can pack just the one can for our outings. The spray nozzle has a clever feature allowing you to lock the sprayer to avoid accidental leakage when out and about with it.I appreciate that it's reef safe, fragrance free, non-GMO, and 70% organic. At $40 it's quite a bit more expensive than what I usually buy, but it's so much better than what I typically get that I think it's a reasonable value. As a side note this Sonrei Clearly ZinQ™ Mineral Sunscreen Mist is made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients.

Nice Quality
This sunscreen sprays well, but comes out very white. I suppose I should not have been surprised by this, given that it is zinc oxide, but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite as white as it was. It does rub into my pale skin fairly easily, and it feels like it offers nice coverage. It smells good. It’s a fairly neutral smell, unlike many other sunscreens that are strongly scented. The price of $40 per can seems expensive, thus it probably cannot become my new go-to sunscreen. If that isn’t a deterrent to you, this is a good one.

Sonrei Delivers for What You Pay.
I use a phone app, Yuka, that allows me to scan the barcodes of foods and cosmetics that then returns an analysis of that products ingredients, and a score of its efficacy, basically rated as either good or bad, for consumption or external use. The scoring is numerical, 0 – 100, alongside the written degrees of poor – excellent.Sonrei Clearly ZinQ Mineral Sunscreen Mist scored 100 out of 100. In the two years and innumerable products I’ve inquired of, that has only happened one other time. Both active and inactive ingredients are analyzed, and if so desired, the scientific analyses of the individual components can be accessed. The active ingredient of Sonrei, Zinc oxide, is synthesized from zincite, a naturally occurring mineral. It is commonly used as a sunscreen and sits on the skin, providing a physical barrier that reflects sunrays, as opposed to sunscreens that are absorbed into the skin. As such, it provides a two-way protective barrier; keeping sun off the skin while keeping moisture in. A perusal of Sonreis' inactive ingredients, listed on the bottle, reveals a myriad of constituents commonly known to be beneficial to the health of skin, most of them organic. So, while reducing moisture loss, the skin is being moisturized and conditioned.Sonrei is dispensed as an atomized mist, and lands lightly on the skin, avoiding the white caking often associated with zinc oxide sunscreens, and is barely visible.I always look closely at the ingredients of anything I consider consuming or applying to my skin. In my opinion and experience, Sonrei is produced with exceptionally high-quality ingredients that not only provide a barrier from the harmful effects of the sun, but at the same time add to the health of the skin. Sonrei is a thoughtfully designed sun product.

Very easy to apply and rub in
There is a minimal white cast and it’s very easy to either spray on skin directly or onto your hands and rub it in. It didn’t take too much work to rub it in, and felt a lot lighter than drugstore sunscreens I’ve tried. Yes, it is sticky for a couple minutes but then dries down. It’s not completely matte but it isn’t greasy at all. It’s great for when I’m out in the sun for a short period of time since it’s only SPF 30. I wore it when I was in direct sunlight from 12pm-2pm with no shade for my kid’s school event. I’m in southern Cali so it gets pretty sunny and hot during that time. I didn’t burn at all and my skin felt very comfortable and not suffocated.

Easy to use sunscreen
I love the fact that this comes out in mist form and covers skin exceptionally well. It cuts out the hassle of rubbing yourself down and ending up with uneven white lotiony streaks. Works as intended, leaves no mess, and is quick and easy.

Good - why is it $40??
This sunscreen seems to work fine (I didn't get burned, but hard to know if I would have anyway). It comes out well - a little thicker than the stuff I normally get at Wally World. I just can't fathom why this would be a $40 product.

Good spray sport sunscreen
I think this would be pretty good sport sunscreen for the beach and other outdoor activities. It does have a slightly tacky feel to it and goes on very white initially but most of the white cast fades after a minute. The sprayer works well and gives a continuous mist. It should probably be sprayed outside as it will go in many directions. It technically doesn’t have a scent but it does have the “unscented smell” (if that makes sense) that doesn’t smell very good. I think the best part of this sunscreen is the ingredients list. It is full of really good, non-toxic ingredients that you can feel good about using. The price ($34 at the time of this review) is in line with the cost of some healthier sunscreens but I’m not sure it’s worth it for me personally. For someone that is very ingredient- conscious and outdoorsy, this is a very good sunscreen option.
