Good heavy duty grill parts

Normally I would purchase a new grill. This time I replaced all the parts for just over $100 and saved over $500 I would have paid for a new grill. My grill is like brand new and good for another 10 years. Getting thrifty in my old age.

The original top and bottom grill parts lock together. These new parts don’t lock together. So when the top slides over it allows the heat to come straight up to the meat you are cooking and it burns. Also the top grill grate is not coated with enamel like the original design. So meat will stick to the grate if you don’t apply oil to the grate just before cooking. I will be returning this item for both issues mentioned above. Waste of time and money.
