This HDD dock works great, I get full speed on both drives to my PC. I used this to clone a few drives and that function worked as advertised.

Easy to use, works as expected. I have wanted one of these to go through a stack of old drives from old computers. This makes it very easy to check those drives. It also works well as a swappable backup drive system. No issues over 6 months use.

Very inexpensive. Power cable is about 3ft too short, but other than that it works as advertised and does exactly what I need it to do. Its quiet, reliable, small and a great value!

First - what I DO NOT like:During power on/off: It has this very annoying and loud "BEEP". They could have made that a lot quieter. Or just give me an LED that turns on when the drive is connected. [There is a small one, but hard to see].I may down the road see about removing that beeper. After returning it is no longer an option.What I Do like:Plug-n-play. Multiple drive size and type compatibility. Reads the drives like a dream. No need to put inside an enclosed container. If you have old SATA drives you want to get files from, you can easily plug them in to this and copy/move over.Fully contained power for the 3.5" drives.

I had some old non-working PCs that I had scavenged laptops from, so I bought this to see if I could recover family photos, paperwork, etc. It works very well, and it’s very simple. It’s plug and play. It was easier than I expected to use. If I can figure it out, so can you.

Used this to transfer data to a new PC. I was able to take the drive out of the old PC, put it in this drive reader, and copy all the data from the old PC to the new PC in a short amount of time. Well worth the price!

Something is wrong with the communication with this thing. Doesn't matter what you put in it if you run a hard drive test the test will fail come back saying that there was an error and the drive is bad.I test the same drives plugged directly into the motherboard with a SATA cable and it's fine.I would expect a little bit of corruption to happen over time with your data during a file transfer with this in mind.Edit: I've added another couple stars to this review, Orico reached out and fixed things with my experience, I'm under the impression this is a problem that just affected my unit.
