My dog would not eat them

Eats them but doesn’t really like them

I was expecting crunchy chips that I could use for training. These are soft and chewy. They also clump together in a sticky stack in the bag. So if you are looking for a training treat keep this in mind. You may have to separate them and cut them into smaller pieces because they take a few seconds to chew up. That being said, the price is reasonable and they must be delicious because my dog went through all the tricks she knows to try to get more. I am happy and will buy more but not my go to training treat that is all.

I didn't rate the flavor, as I didn't have a taste myself. But Zack, my 9 year old miniature black Poodle comes running every time he hears the crackle of the bag being opened. He now knows to perform every trick he's been taught using these treats to receive another. And it doesn't take a whole apple slice for him to perform. Most of the slices are generous in size so I can cut one up into three, sometimes 4, pieces to serve each small piece as a treat. They always smell fresh when I open the resealable bag. A good training aid, and definitely a great reward for your best friend to show your love.

I’m not really sure the product we received is okay. The Apple Slices dog treats were soggy-like and not firm like the ones shown in a featured video. Our dog LOVES the bananas, but we wanted to change things up for him and his first try he put it in his mouth and dropped it and walked away. This is coming from a dog that eats everything except chicory leaves! He has since eaten them, because he is very treat motivated, but I’m just not sure if they are actually safe or okay for him to eat? Can’t find a way to contact the seller, so I’ll write the review instead. Giving two stars because of their being a single source treat for our dog with all the food allergies.
