Andis - UltraEdge steel blade, 1 count (Pack of 1)

I’ve quite a variety of Andis clipper blades now as I’ve always struggled with our dog’s fine downy hair. The original size 10 with metal magnetic guard kit takes hours to do him. I have to give him a break between sessions. But this time, after reading an article, I tried the No 4 skip blade which leaves a slightly rougher 9.5mm cut. What a difference. It glides through his fur so much easier. It’s reduced his cut time by half. Only downsides are it seams to heat up pretty quickly despite regular drops of oil and you can’t fit the Andis guards to it which means it’s a little bit sharp and is easier to catch him with. I soon got used to it though and with a little more care keeping his skin tight found it very easy compared to the standard No 10 blade that comes with the Andis Andis Ultraedge AGC Super 2 Speed

This blade was so blunt it only managed to clip my wee tiny Lhasa appso s back n she whimpered when I used it on her only fit for bin and me a disabled senior citizen payed over£30 my advice don't buy

what good service this blade was ordered one day and arrived the day after briiliant,was so pleased with this and so surprised it came that quick

I’ve not actually used this blade as I needed to use a #7 to demarcate my dogs. Based on that blade I’d strongly advise going for a ceramic blade as the ultra edge heat up so quick, ridiculously quick which means the clipper is just not viable in a grooming situation.
