Shipping leaves a lot to be desired!!!!! (Updated)
I am fairly impressed by the quality of the bow for the price. This was a Xmas gift for myself from my wife and when we got the bow I didnt bother taking it out of its box and didnt actualy open the box till xmas. Well that was a mistake the box the bow came in was about 4'x4'x6" well I thought maybe there was a secondary box inside and the bow looked like it was wrapped in bubble wrap and just thrown loosely into the box with the accessorie ziploc( which literally looked exactly like the ziplock bag you would buy for some frozen meat.) Well as soon as I unwrapped the bow from its 72 feet of bubble wrap the string was completely broke from the middle. Now this isnt too big of deal however when I buy a new bow I expect the most crucial part to be there and functioning. Also the arrows looked like they were shot before with mud embedded in the field tips and down the length of 3 of the arrows (this was suppose to new not used.) The build quality of the bow was pretty decent the accessories that you get with the bow are decent as well are they Hoyt or mathews quality heck no but if you want something cheap that can be used for target practice and hunting I wouldnt have any problem recommending it once I actually get the replacement bow and put it through a proper test.***Updated*** Amazon must have sent me a used bow because the new bow I got actually came in a branded box with injection molded plastic. It was very easy to adjust the draw length and although I still have a lot of tuning to do on the bow it shoots decent. I suspect a big issue is the arrows that came with the bow so I am going to get some High FOC arrows made and see how it shoots then. Im still completely puzzled how I got shipped a used bow and wasnt cool especially since it was a xmas gift. I have no doubt though that with this thing tuned and a proper arrow setup this thing would easily kill a deer.

Update/Love the looks and feel but…
Upon receiving the bow the kickstand broke first time it was used, checked the bow out and everything seemed functional and appeared to be good was about too attempt lining it up and pow string came off so I’m disappointed in that so far I’ve always liked any of the tidewe products Ive bought but it’s discouraging that I have too drive an hour now too get something brand new repaired hoping this isn’t a trending thing with this bowI want too compliment the customer service they reached out too me and took care of the issues they was super nice and didn’t hesitate which also makes me feel much more comfortable

Inaccurate, unstable, soft
I gave this bow its fair shake. I wanted it to to be awesome so bad so I could rub it in the guys with $1,800 bows face. I used the rest, sight, stabilizer, and release that came with bow, set it up and tuned it (as much as I could) and started shooting.I got 4 different types of arrows, all shoot decently well, I chalked up my loose groups to a new bow, average groups at 20yrd are 4”, 30 and 40 open up quite a bit. 50-70 yards and I’m happy to hit the targets. The bow has NO forgiveness. Any tiny difference in grip pressure, release torque, angle, cant, etc are drastically exaggerated down range. Part of the issue is that the back wall is so soft and there is about 3/4” of playI thought a lot of the issues I was having we used error so I shot a diamond infinite edge and started breaking off knocks. All of that being said, the bow looks great, is incredible value, incredibly easy to assemble, and is decently fast. (420gr arrow build 269fps). But all I can see it as is an entry into archery. I really wanted to love it, it is just a little too inconsistent in my opinion to be used for anything but the range.

Fantastic Bow - Sad News
Update! Sanlida Dragon 8X is the same exact bow as this TideWe (no real surprise). With only a visual difference to the lower and upper riser design. Mid section of the riser is identical and the cams are identical. So if you were looking to purchase this bow and waited too long. Go Sanlida Dragon x8. Cheers!I'm fortunate enough to have at least bought one of these gems. Waited too long to purchase another one for a second build and I'll explain...Contacted TideWe CS to find out if they had plans to continue this line of bows and I was told the following. So if you have one of these fine compounds, tend to it and treasure it."Hi,Thank you so much for contacting us.Unfortunately, our compound bow is no longer on sale and will no longer be produced.Thank you for your understandingIf you need any further assistance, please contact us then.Best regards,Tidewe Team"That response to my inquiry was a sad read.

Great Compound Bow for Starters
This is a pretty well-made compound bow and would be a great starter model for anyone who is looking to start their journey. All the parts are well-crafted and packaged. I love the fact that it includes arrows to get you started right away. However, I feel the price point ($290) is a little steep for this model.I sincerely hope that you would find this review helpful.

Thoroughly surprised!
As an experienced archer of over 30+ years, I’m impressed with this bow. I haven’t been able to shoot much since 2016 due to a shoulder injury. My Hoyt Vector 32 is a 60#-70# draw weight and because of the bad shoulder I haven’t been able to pull more than 55# so I wanted a cheap bow to get back into daily shooting. I got this bow on a special for about $150. Within an hour of getting this, I had it set up and shooting 3” groupings at 30-40 yards. A little more tuning and that grouping will shrink. I of course put on a different arrow rest and stabilizer, but this bow will shoot great right out of the box. The draw is very smooth through the entire power range and the let off is very stable and forgiving. I can’t recommend this bow enough for any archer from beginner to experienced. I’m looking forward to seeing what this bow will do on a hunt. Very impressed.
