Great product and customer service
When the lights first arrived I was unsure how to connect them. I asked customer service for some help. They sent a video which was extremely helpful. The lights are now connected and working flawlessly. I would purchase these again from this company.

They're Functional, They Work, and They Carry a UL label.
I was a lineman at the age of 19 and a licensed electrician by 23. I retired as Director of Engineering for a Government Authority. In my career both as a hands on tool guy and later as a manager, I got to install, inspect, and utilize a lot of emergency power equipment. Even though we used emergency generators and Industrial UPS systems we still had backups to the back ups as public and employee safety was a top priority. To say I have experience with emergency lighting is an understatement. So, these particular emergency lights were of great interest to me. The days of incandescent bulbs and sealed lead batteries for units such as these are over. That means LED's, efficient circuits, and much lighter batteries that provide the equivalent run time as the older, heavier, and less efficient units. These have small 1000 Mah batteries in them that are like you have in a cordless phone. They are physically small but have enough power to light the LED emergency lights for in excess of 1-1/2 hours.Hookup is simple. Just connect the appropriate wires, White and Black for 120 VAC or White and Red for 277 VAC. If you're in the USA and using these at your house, store, or in your garage, you'll be using standard 120 VAC. If you're in a larger commercial or industrial building with a 3 phase 277/480 VAC service you'll likely be using that. However, pretty much every building that has 277/480 also has 110/208 VAC or 115/230 VAC available to them, so yes you can use that too. These lights are designed for emergency lighting during a power failure in order to egress a building. Battery powered emergency light need to provide illumination for 1-1/2 hours minimum according to the National Electrical Code in the USA. These will do that. If you'd don't want these for code required installations and just want to use them at home, you can add a bigger battery for longer light duration. You can also put a cord with a plug on these and use them as a backup if you're working in a place that may go dark. As an electrician I got into some pretty dark places on construction sights with no windows and no emergency lighting. I'd run a generator for temporary lighting and take a couple of emergency lights that I had plugs and cords on and plug them into the generator source. Then if the generator ran out of fuel or stopped working for some reason we'd have lighting in order to safely exit.If you need some decent emergency lights I think these will work for you. Don't let their weight fool you, they are made well enough for the task they are required to do. The batteries plug in and are easily replaceable should you ever need to; they are inexpensive too. You'll get decent instructions with these and you'll also get the wire nuts you need and some plastic anchors and screws should you choose to mount them that way.Would I recommend these lights. Yes.

Works great!
I ordered these for my house, since we experience a lot of power outages in my area and I wanted to provide some light to my garage and utility room, so it would be easier to get the generator outside, running and hooked up without needing a flash light. Conveniently, these came 1 day before Hurricane Lee hit, so I quickly got them wired up (not properly, you should ask an electrician to wire this for you, but i decided to use an accessory power cord to wire it so i could simply plug it in. I'll fix it later). Sure enough, Saturday night the power cut out, the lights kicked on auto-magically, and threw plenty of light for me to see what I was doing while i got the generator together. The power outage was quite short, so I can't comment on how long they'd actually last on battery power, but for use in a garage or utility room, these are great!
