Will this work with cat communication adapter 3? i use this to connect to insight but i need the triangle plug for older models

If it doesn't plug right in you can use jumpers to get on the CAN lines. I've done that quite a few times on early 90's engines. They had all kinds of crazy plugs back then. Berore ATA got everybody on the same page with the 6 and later 9 pin plug.

So I have insite Cummins program , I cant go threw 16 pin to do regen or read codes nor see temp on older dodge rams ,will this work threw data link ?

Gilbert, I actually spoke to the Nexiq Tech. department just now. It sounds like it isn't the adapter that is keeping you from being able to run your tests. I explained that you have the Cummins Software but they are telling me that in order to access those tests, there is Dodge programming that you would need access to. Rodney D.

Will this cable work with Nexas NL102plus?

Dominic, This cable is a genuine Nexiq adapter. I do not believe this will work with Nexas products. Rodney D.
