Very sturdy
It would take a great deal of effort on my part to bend this thing. Fortunately, I have no intention of excreting that much energy. Wonderful product for its uses.

Mashing Marvel: A Game-Changer in My Culinary Adventures!
The media could not be loaded. Oh boy, where do I begin? Let me set the scene. It was a chilly evening, and there I was, inspired by Gordon Ramsay's mashed potato recipe (you know, the one where he emphatically states, "It's all in the mashing!"). So, with sheer determination, I reached out for my newest kitchen acquisition, this potato masher, and what unfolded was nothing short of culinary magic.**Pros**:1. **Stalwart and Steady**: Crafted with top-notch stainless steel, this beauty not only looks elegant but also stands the test of time. No bending, no breaking, just smooth, consistent mashing. It's as if the tool silently whispered to me, "I got your back!"2. **Versatility Galore**: From potatoes to avocados and even boiled eggs, this masher's precision-engineered hole spacing makes the task feel effortless. Reminds me of Hermione Granger's wand - a solution to every problem.3. **Simple Cleanup**: Post-mashing, I was expecting the cleanup to be a nightmare, but this tool proved me wrong! Straight into the dishwasher it went, and voila, it came out looking brand new. No stubborn bits clinging on. Big win!4. **Thoughtful Design**: The rounded handle felt like a comfy cushion for my hand. And the added length? A godsend. No more singed fingers for this gal.5. **Clever Storage Solution**: The integrated hanging hole is a boon for someone like me with limited drawer space. Handy and accessible!**Cons**:1. **Takes Getting Used To**: The initial feel might seem a bit different, especially if you've used different mashers before. But once you get the hang of it, it's smooth sailing.2. **Not for Mini Tasks**: Given its robust build, it might not be suitable for mashing tiny quantities. To say that I am impressed would be an understatement. This masher has turned my mundane mashing tasks into something I look forward to. As Julia Child once quipped, "The loveliest thing you can cook for someone who's close to you is about as nice a valentine as you can give," and with this masher, every dish feels like a valentine. In the vast sea of kitchen gadgets that promise the moon, this one truly delivers. It doesn't scream for attention, but rather earns its place with sheer performance. If you're on the lookout for a sturdy, efficient, and elegantly designed masher, I'd say give this one a whirl. And if you're like me, you'll soon be quoting Ratatouille's Chef Gusteau, "Anyone can cook!" - with a little help from the right tools, of course!

Necessary Kitchen Utensil
It’s a stainless steel potato masher so, I was very pleased with that. So far I’ve use it a couple time to make mashed potatoes for a dinner and it was very sturdy and worked great.

Better than my old masher
I made mashed potatoes last night and this masher worked great - even better than my older squiggly line type masher. The handle hits in my hand comfortably in my hand and I was able to get a good grip on it, even though it is a smooth surface. The potatoes came out soft and fluffy. It was easy to use and easy to clean afterwards. The only drawback was that if you set it next to the heat the handle gets hot, so check it before picking it up. I am glad I did (but if we’re plastic it would have melted, so there is that).

Well-constructed masher for all your cooking needs...
I got this primarily for potatoes but you can mash just about anything with it. My other favorite is avocados for guacamole and hard-boiled eggs for sandwiches. It is made from stainless steel, will not bend, and you can just throw it in the dishwasher.Any cook would be proud to show this off in their kitchen!

An excellent tool!
I have had a number of potato mashers over the years, having been cooking for several decades, but this is the nicest one to date. I like its long handle; I’m less likely to burn my wrist or arm on the edge of a hot pot while using it and less likely to need to wear a glove for protection against such burns. It works great for mashing potatoes, yams, or any cooked vegetable that you wish to mash, and also cooked beans when preparing veggie burgers or various non-meat sandwich fillings. So it gets a lot of use in my vegan (starchivore) kitchen. Its one-piece construction and stainless steel material make it very sturdy, just the right weight in the hand, and completely dishwasher safe.

Good
This item arrived nicely packaged. I've never had a fully steel potato masher before, or one with holes at the bottom so was excited to try this. I really like it. It is nicely made, and of thick material so less likely to break. It worked really well with the mashing, especially as it has only holes at the bottom. The handle is long too so more area to hold and push. Good item for my kitchen, a little pricey for what it is tho

Smash and mash...
Most of us have probably previously tried one of those potato mashers that collapse or bend out of useful shape when you give them more than three baby potatoes to deal with. This isn't one of those and despite the complex shape it doesn't seem to have any obvious joints or weak spots and it can cope with a whole potful of potatoes. It's quite long-handled so even deep pots can be tackled but the business end has a relatively small round head and so you need to make more plunges to get the job done. It's pricey for all it is but the quality seems good and it's certainly up to the task. There don't seem to be any more matching utensils from the range which is a shame, I like the minimal styling and the brushed stainless steel finish and would like more.

Good Quality, Heavy Duty Stainless Steel Masher
We recently broke our relatively new masher - buy cheap, buy twice, as the old chestnut goes. This smasher is solid stainless steel. You can see where the different sections have been welded together (and there are a couple of untidy spots that haven't been polished out correctly) which makes for a very robust masher. There are no jointed, riveted or plastic sections here. It's so solid you could probably add it to the murder weapons list in a game of Cluedo! It's a fairly long kitchen utensil, which on the one hand is great for getting to the bottom of deeper pans, but on the other makes it relatively heavy. The mashing end of business does the job really well. It is, perhaps, a smaller mashing head in comparison to the size of the tool. The single piece metal design makes cleaning easy, which is great. I'd like to see it a couple of pounds cheaper, purely down to the quality of the finishing, but if it stays under £20 I'd recommend.

Good quality - Sturdy built
The built quality is good. It feels sturdy and durable to last longer. Cleaning was easy, and also dishwasher safe. Used a couple of times without any issues. The price is slightly expensive in my opinion. Overall, I am happy to own it.
